After a full day of travelling, I stopped in here for a burger and beer. The girl behind the bar was friendly and agreed to make me a burger even though I think their kitchen was closed or closing very soon. It's definitely a hang out spot for locals and everyone smokes inside but I guess that's fairly common in smaller bars throughout Portugal. Its located right next to the water and has great views of the harbour during the day. Thanks for you're reply. Smoking is only allowed after lunch, and we are gradually changing the bar for a non smoker place at least for the dinner hour, because that's a reality for the lunch.
Family owned and operated restaurant, serving delicious BBQ/BRAAI dishes & good times. Weâre located one street from Madalenaâs Ferry port, right next door to Hotel Caravelas with a beautiful view of the neighbouring Faial Island as well as Mount Pico fro
The advertisement on the street outside this restaurant is true! You do get good food and friendly service. In addition you get someone who is allergen attentive and ensured us lovely and tummy friendly food. We also got tips on what to see and do on Pico. Very pleasant experience and recommended.

If you are into Fish, this is the place to go!Nice atmosphere, very friendly owner and staff, average price and beautiful fresh fish everyday (except saturday lunch time)...Near hotel Caravelas. At lunch they have an economy style buffet really worth the money you pay...been here a few times and will definitely recommend to anyone that want to eat fish

Located in the center of the Capital of Rural Tourism, in Prainha do Pico, every day we serve fresh fish and meat. In our menu we include vegetarian food.
itâs not the average in Azores, Iâm really surprised because of the quality of the fish and the reception. The location is very good and, finally, I really appreciated the towels, tissue not paper! A little bit expensive but a place where you donât can be wrong.

The best place to eat regional cuisine tidbits in Pico island.
I went with a group of 12 and we had the set menu. Cheese, bread and olives (cheese very good), tuna bites (very good), fava beans (ordinary), salad (hard to mess that up), fish with potatoes (very good), meat that might have been lamb (extremely tough and tasteless), chips (pretty good), dessert (I chose chocolate mousse, excellent) and wine (red and white both really nice). All this for â¬18. Service was fast and the atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant would have got 5 stars if the meat had not been so terrible.

It was within walking distance of our hotel and had good reviews on trip advisor so we went. Very small restaurant and very busy. We got the last table for two. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. We had to wait a while for our food as it is all freshly prepared. Everything was good and they even have house wine served in a jug - much cheaper than the bottles of wine and perfectly drinkable. We returned the next night and our experience was the same. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
