It has about 31,300 inhabitants, half of which live in the newly built district of Getsewoud. The built-up area of the town was 3.71 km, and contained 7,513 residences. The wider statistical area of Nieuw-Vennep has a population of around 40,000. In 2001, Nieuw-Vennep had 17,886 inhabitants, which later doubled due to the development of Getsewoud.

Recommended at hotel so we thought ten minutes wasn't too far to walk. To our surprise at 7pm it looked completely full but luckily we could be squeezed in.Fish soup very tasty, surf and turf very tender, lamb chops very tender and cooked rare to perfection.Will be back next time in the area and will make reservation to be on the safe side.

I was privileged to eat lunch in this restaurant for 4 consequent days. The food items were delicious as per dutch standard. Considering our Indian Origin they served at least rice item and chicken curry. The most memorable item of this restaurant was Salmon it was out of the world. The restaurant has good view of front road. All the non vegetarian items were ultimate. The Pastries or other sweet items were also unique. I enjoyed all the lunch and hope to visit here again.Thank you very much for your compliments! It's very nice to hear that you enjoyed our lunch offerings for 4 consequent days. Papa's Beach House is wonderful at all season. I had the opportunity to have lunch there and ordered the new winter version of the Cesar's salad. My friends ordered a juicy burger and chicken saté and to everybody food has seemed delicious.
