Our name is derived from the historically significant Westreme Battery that is located just around the corner. Built by the Order of St. John in 1715, this was actually the first line of defence breached by the French invaders in 1798. Over the years, the
This restaurant is right on the waterfront on Mellieha Bay and did have a lovely relaxed feel to it.All the food we ordered was delicious, we ordered some Burgers, a Spicy Italian Pizza (best Pizza in Mellieha) and a Salmon Salad which was huge. We so enjoyed the main course, so decided to order desserts. A Fudge Cake, which was large and good, a Mixed Berry Cheesecake, which was nice although the texture was a bit more like a mousse, and a Strawberry Ice Cream which was delicious. Oh and a glass of Baileys, which are never big enough.

We ate here on our first night in Malta, having arrived late after an afternoon of travelling. We wanted some quick and easy food and this place was perfect for it. To start, I had some deep fried mozzarella with a mango chutney. It wasn't anything special but it was well prepared and tasted good. The fritter was crisp and well cooked and the cheese inside tasty, if a little rubbery. We then both had pizzas which were very good. We tried two of the vegetarian pizza options, mine being topped with pesto, mozzarella, tomato and rocket. The pizza was really well cooked with a lovely crisp base and delicious toppings. We thought that the choice on the menu was very good with a nice mix of different foods and very affordable drinks. The service was good and the prices extremely reasonable. For a more casual dining experience, I would definitely recommend it.

Carvv is our interpretation of the American Steakhouse, combining bistro ambiance with steakhouse fare. Quality, comfort and good value are the three main key ingredients that make Carvv an experience like no other.
Had a lovely meal here on the last night of our holiday. Beautifully cooked fillet steak with mini roast potatoes and veg. Very good value for money as the price includes a salad starter as well as soup with bread and croutons. Good selection of reasonably priced bottles of wine.

The Shell Shack & Grill menu was created to reflect the Mediterranean spirit and cuisine of the Maltese islands. Thatâs why we always use fresh, local seafood to give our guests the best food experience possible. The same applies to our Grill section, too
We visited here on our first night as it was close to our guest house. We had a lovely table overlooking the bay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great choice of food.We had the pork belly and the fish special. Both were excellent. It is not cheap but we felt the quality of food and service was worth the money.
