Cooking with Soul. Food that generates emotions and Memorables Flavors. World Cuisine combined with the essence of The Argentinean plates. A perfect brotherhood of flavors and ingredients that will make us live an unique experience. Dishes made with passi
Las Donosas does traditional BBQ but as it is Argentina, the meat is only ready after 9:30pm! So we were restricted to their a la carte menu. The restaurant has a lovely setting with an outside garden next to the BBQ and a lovely, trendy indoor section with a funky bar and a wine cellar where you can go and choose your own wine. We decided to share their empanadas as a starter....very tasty. Three different fillings and all very good. These were fried as opposed to the usual baked variety and were really good. For mains my husband had the pork ribs which he declared to be very good. I had the salmon, which was lovely (I couldn't face more meat!). We shared a bottle of something red.....can't remember what it was! The owner came to chat to us.....what a lovely and delightful hostess! Sadly we couldn't say the same for our waitress who was super impatient with our stuttering Spanish (we can actually speak a bit, so I can't imagine what she would be like with customers who don't speak a word!) and wasn't in the least bit inclined to try to help. When we asked her to speak a bit slower, she did what English speakers usually do......raised her voice and barked back at us! When another waiter (who did speak a bit of English) came over, she basically shooed him away.....obviously she was after the tip! It did spoil the evening somewhat for us, even though the food was good....hence the 3 stars rather than 4Dear FractalacticFirst of all we would like to apologise for the experience that you have with our waitress, its a shame that you have to face that situation. As well, we try our best to have an english speakers waitrees but some times it is difficult to find and to balance the personality with the skills, and as human being, we have good days and bad days. We made our team based in simple and warmest people and I was surprised about the mistrate that you got. Sorry about it.Sometimes in my own experience is tough when we travel, to get in a place that we visit, someone who is able to understand us.On other hand we would like to thanks your comments about our restaurant...the bottle of something red must be a red wine and always its great to share a glass of wine with our beloved especially in MendozaWishing that you have a great travel back home.Warmest regards.Las Donosas
La Cocina del Oso is an Artisan Restaurant, informal and staffed by its owner. Ideal to spend a good time with family and friends, enjoying exquisite "Criolla" food (typical of Argentina), such as roasted meats, meats to flame, stews, "empanadas" and vari
This is a casual, welcoming, and rustic place with a daily set menu. The meal started with olives, bread, and several spreads. Then we each had two empanadas. Beef was the standard, but they prepared one of spinach and one of pumpkin for the vegetarians in our group. The meat menu continued with a ribeye steak of at least 8 ounces, while the vegetarians got huge omelets flavored with cheese, herbs, and walnuts. The mains came with vegetables on the side. Dessert was bread pudding with dulce de leche. The meal was a good value, and portions were large enough that we took leftovers with us for dinner.

The best grill in Mendoza is in La puntilla, Lujan de whose. We are Spetto Corrido. A place to enjoy the best meats and an excellent wine from La Pequeña Bodega.
We just happened to walk past this restaurant and thought to try the fixed price meal. Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive without being in any way overbearing. You can have a meat meal or other (our Spanish limited so not sure what the other was). Anyway the meat was grilled to perfection and brought to the table and carved and put on your plate. We could not eat all the offerings but what we ate was great. Also a very very large variety of salads to go with your meat. Freshly cooked beetroot that was delicious, for those that this vegetable. Following all the meats and salads there was a dessert choice and coffee or champagne. Definitely worth a visit but do not eat anything after breakfast till you get to the restaurant. Opens at 9pm at night for dinner.

We had the tasting menu. We had a courtesy first plate of asparagus and fried cassava. Very good. Unfortunately it was served in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon. Not at the standard and quality of the restaurant. The second plate was a good provoleta with Argentinian sausage. The wines fitted very good. The third plate was excellent: matured meat, carefully roasted. This plate was as we expected, and served with a very good wine. The salad was ok. Nothing special. The dessert was very good, just a little hard because it was too frozen and difficult to cut with a spoon. The waiters need to be more sensitive to special needs from the guests: we were a little hurried because we had to leave to the airport, and I had to tell this to the waiters on three occasions to hurry up with the next plate.

Located in the heart of the Arena Maipú complex, the Churrasquito offers an attractive gastronomic proposal for lovers of the grill, by the chef Facundo Belardinelli. The menu features a wide variety of dishes and more than 78 wine labels. The architectur

Built in 1865, this restored Manor house and vineyard is the home of Ver Sacrum Wines, and offers typical countryside old recipes with mostly ingredients grown on premises. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed and ideal to learn the stories, enjoy garage wines
The food and surroundings are excellent and faultless. The dishes balance well with the selected wines. Eduardo the host showed us around the beautiful house which he has renovated and explained the history of the winery. We felt special as he limits the number of guests to just 12 for lunch. I would highly recommend this experience without hesitation. Thanks for your words and your visit. Happy to know that your experience at our home will last in your memory!
