A pub serving award winning ales and great value food, which is served all day in the summer months. There is a large beer garden to the rear of the property with a secure children's activity centre. It is dog friendly, and promotes a friendly atmosphere.
Three of us were down in Cornwall, for cricket which unfortunately got rained off. We had though, booked a couple of night stay over in St Blazey, and decided to eat at the Welcome home Inn on the first night. What a lovely experience. Local, friendly, great staff, and pub food to die for. It was so good we went back on our second night and ate there again. Equally as good. Some great real ale, really well priced and a lovely atmosphere. If we were ever in the area again, this would be a must for a stop off.Thank you for your review and kind wordsWe hope that if you are ever in the area again you will pay us a visit. It is feedback such as yours that makes us feel that what we do is really worthwhile.Once again, thank you for your custom and the kind sentiment shown by your kind words.Kind regards Ken and Sue.

Please note the restaurant is now closed.
It's very much a locals pub, which is absolutely fine. However, it's dark and depressing and more of a drinking and pool pub than an eatery, even though they do serve food. The brewery really need to invest in 're modernising and emphasising more on the meals. It's been like this for years and had so many different managers etc. It's ideally situated on the main A390 so with a little bit of capital being spent and a more friendlier eating area created not to mention,a better menu selection, this little pub would be more popular with passing trade.
