Weâve always wanted to eat here, drawn by its long history, crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins, but most of all eating our dinner off of Limoges porcelaine. The waiters were very welcoming, attentive, efficient and friendly. The meal from the aperitif to the coffee was delicious and beautifully presented. A carnivores paradise. Simple but enjoyable food. Nothing lavish but it is what it is, beef though and through. My hotelier recommended and he wasn't wrong. A good steak menu. I also found the wine list worth exploding. As you would expect full of quality mid range wine. I opted for a 50cl carafe of Luxembourg Pinot Noir. Most palatable.

We have visited this restaurant several times before and had a very enjoyable meal and experience. This was way we we chose this restaurant to celebrate our son's birthday, but we were very let down and not one of us enjoyed our meal. Firstly we shared the combo basket starter between four of us, the basket of food came along with one tray of dips....sadly no plates and we all had to share the dips. This wasn't a major problem as we were all family but had we order this with friends I would have been very uncomfortable sharing this with them, and for â¬10.50 surely they could have provided dips for each of us. The main course was very average, smaller portion sizes than we have received in previous visits and increased prices! We also mentioned to our waiter that it was our son's birthday and yet they did nothing to celebrate this, again when we celebrated a previous birthday there they brought out a muffin with a candle in, and all they staff sang happy birthday. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, so this wasn't the reason, I can only put all the issues down to cut backs!!The final nail in the coffin was that we have their loyalty card and when we have checked our balance thinking we should have enough saved for a full meal out for the four us next time, they have wiped our balance and the only loyalty balance was the amount of our meal today.To sum it all up we shall NEVER be eating at this restaurant again.

Too bad we didn't find this place for dinner! We discovered it after a rather disappointing meal near by. We popped in for after dinner drinks and much needed dessert for my other half. While a little brightly lit, we got over that quickly as the staff were all friendly and professional. A café gourmandise was well received by Mr. Roaming and the cognac hit the spot for me. A busy, lively and trendy spot, popular with singles for business, mixed groups and couples - all in very comfortable and contemporary surroundings. The menu had a good and not an overly long selection, so fresh with good turnover from what we saw sailing past. If we had to stop in Limoges again, we'd head here for dinner for sure.
