Since the climate is mild year-round, the area is filled with Mediterranean vegetation and exotic plants. Lake Maggiore was featured in Ernest Hemingway's infamous novel, A Farewell to Arms, when the protagonist and his lover must row across the lake in order to escape the Italian Carabinieri (think police in military uniforms). Here's hoping you won't have any run-ins of that nature.

... A small corner of paradise ... How nice to be lulled by the sweet notes of the selected music while enjoying a glass of wine that accompanies dishes of tradition and innovation in which Alex and Max compete by offering their passion in the pot . The s
We had dinner with three whole families. The owner greeted us and loved to talk about the food. It was a fantastic experience. We took his advise on the primi and segundi and we were not disappointed. The tastes were great. The location is in a historic village, which begs for a stroll before or after dinner. Finished with a delicious dessert. Unfortunately we missed the primary platter of the restaurant which is chocolate salami because they had run out. So we will have to come back one day. Bring enough cash because the dinner was pricey. But sooo worth it!

Wonderful place, wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great!!My partner had strawberry and basil risotto and I had the chateabriand(really from a different planet,it's that good!) and also a pizza, which was American style. That would be my only critic - not gonna drive hundred of miles to get a American pizza!Definitely recommend the place though!
