What more can you ask for...and away from crowd of Chinese tourist and Inflated prices of townOnly 12 min walk from bridge and town perched on top of streetDisappointed first time as closed on a sunday for no reason. Then tried again Tuesday.Not busy but they grill your meats on open wood bbq....perfectly doneOrdered 2 platters for 4 people. Mixed grilled which included beef chicken sausage pork .... other was famous ribs fall off the bone. The perfect spot to get away from the crowd, all in a charming historical setting. We stopped by on a hot afternoon for coffee and strudel, and it was the perfect spot. It is located in the gardens above Cesky Krumlov castle, where the hordes of day-trippers donât go. The gardens are wonderful, although the restaurant entrance is marked as a WC, so donât be fooled.Inside is the marvelous interior with painted barrel ceilings and a wood fire for cooking. It was quite cool inside, even in the heat of the afternoon. Wish we had more time to go back for dinner one night.

Back in 2017 we went to eat here with my wife, and we really enjoyed the food. We have decided to come back again with our friends, however this time we have left disappointed, as the portions were too small compared to our previous visit. 2 stars only, because we felt ripped off. Dear guest,thank you for repeated visit. We are very disappointed about your disappoitment.We will check right today the size of portion.
