I really loved this place, excellent meat with great wine, the only negative point was that the day after we came back we needed to pay for a bottle of wine that we consumed a day before....but I recommend this placeDear MarnixM, thank you for your visit and your evaluation. We are always happy when our guests happy and satisfied. We are sorry for the troubles with the bottle of wine and hope we going to see you again. Have a great day best wishes Family Kurz and the salt&pepper crew.

This new and excellent restaurant is high on the slopes, be not misled by the website that might suggest it would be in Iscgl village by the Silvrettabahn gondola (that may be the mail address...) ! It is actually at 1990 meter elevation, below the new Piz Val Gronda gondola and above the Gampenalp E4 chairlift, about as far to the right as you can get away from Pardatschgrat. The building is modern and we liked the design and decor. Also acoustics are great: no clatter, no noise. Stone on the walls is very tastefully done. Excellent food: I had the grill platter which was excellent and three of us claimed that the Wienerschnitzel was the best they had had. The menu selection is not very large. If there were more salads (and maybe pastas) to choose from that would be an improvement. Book your table ahead of time ! This is for meals more than a quick drink and a pause from skiing. There is a bar and terrace but in January 2019 it gave the impression that the operation is not yet quite up to speed: either a service point on the terrace or more staff is needed as there is very little sitting room in the bar and service is slow.
