We had some fabulous steak which was cooked perfectly. We sat at the back away from the cooking area where it was a nicely relaxed atmosphere. They have a reasonable choice of wine and the whole meal was good value. The staff are charming too. An all-round good evening!

This type of restaurant is one of the reasons we came to Japan - to sample the cultural dishes. It's not every day you eat out and have to cook the meal yourself, this is what made Buchi different for us. Great choice of meats and vegetables to portion sizes depending on how hungry or how many of you dine. You are supplied with a mini table top barbecue pot with hot coals to allow you to cook your food to your liking. Vibrant atmosphere and great service is what adds to making this eatery an absolute delight. For the macho barbecue this place is a must.

Tried both styles of okonomiyaki across various restaurants; this one came out on top. Had the deluxe and one with cheese and kim chi, and both were great and well priced at 1,000-1,100 yen. The excellent English menu also allows you to order any type of topping you'd like (instead of standard options) and the menu includes a communication guide (key sentences in both languages) enabling you to communicate even should a member of staff not speak any English at all (not the case here).Got there at 19h and there was a serious line outside already (c. 15 pax, which took about 25 minutes), so be early or prepare to queue for a bit.Highly recommended.

On the 6th floor of the Full Focus building is about 10 Okonomiyaki ârestaurantsâ (a U shaped teppanyaki hotplate with seats around it) which all serve roughly the same types with a little variation. Each Okonomiyaki costs between Â¥750-Â¥1200 which was reasonable as no sides or other food was needed. We went to a stall that had a black background and red/yellow Japanese writing which is towards the back of the floor and I would thoroughly recommend it. Be prepared for a wait and they donât/canât serve drinks whilst you wait.

Okonomiyaki is famous in Hiroshima. This venue prepares on a large grill in front of the guestsâ¦..or tables are available. An assortment of toppings for this delicious masterpiece are availableâ¦although the primary flavors are delivered through the batter and noodles and tangy sauce.Priced modestly but served generously, this is a hearty meal.

If you are properly hungry go for the âAll inâ special costing a mere 1980 yen. Delicious. Watching the preparation of your order is part of the fun and when you get your food you just regret the fact that when you get home you wonât get one of these. There are of course cheaper smaller options available but you may not get the chance again so go for it. ãæ¥åºæãé£ããããã¾ããããªã¼ã«ã¤ã³ãã注æé ããããã¨ããããã¾ãããããã³ã°ãçãã ãããã§çµæ§ããªã¥ã¼ã ãæãã®ã§ãå¬ãä¸ãã£ã¦é ãã®ã«å¤§å¤ã ã£ãã¨æãã¾ããæé£ãã³ã¡ã³ãæ¬å½ã«æè¬ã§ãï¼

Itâs some time since Iâve used this heading for a review on TripAdvisor but I canât help feeling that tonightâs meal was an example of a restaurantâs reputation on TA being self-perpetuated by some undiscerning followers. Weâve had some fantastic food on our first trip to Japan â virtually never disappointed and ranging from cheap eats to fine diningâ¦. some of the best meals being guided by ratings and reviews on TA. This, sadly, was not one of them. Okonomiyaki has its basis in street food, but even taking into account that it was not an expensive meal, both my partner and I were underwhelmed. I chose Okonomiyaki with squid, my partner, one of the recommended specials (also seafood). At the price, we werenât expecting a lot of seafood (it is âstreet foodâ after all) but we would have appreciated tasting some. There appeared to be no subtlety and little care taken in the combining and cooking of the ingredients and the result was a dish dominated by the sweetness of far too much Okonomiyaki sauce. This restaurant could give Japanese cuisine a bad name â beware of Trip Advisor-induced hubris!

A couple friends and I ate Okinomiaki at Hassho recently. I love Okinomiaki especially Hiroshima style Okinomiaki. It was good no doubt, but unfortunately I've had better. We did order a kimchi dish that was very good.

Established in 1999. Bilingual staff on the floor who can actually answer your questions. Serving homemade burgers, deep dish pizza (the only store in Hiroshima serving it), proper BBQ and smoked meats, Tex-Mex and lots of beers. Yes, there are 12 taps se
Went here expecting a lot better and was quite disappointed as it is well reviewed . The service was inattentive and it took a while to get served on a quiet Saturday evening. No water provided, nor was any napkins or wipes with the chicken wings . I had to get up and help myself to napkins and wipes. The food was reasonably good but not outstanding. Definitely wouldnât return.
