We are a Grill RestoBar with musical proposal because we are sure that the pleasure of good eating must go with the increase of all the senses.
We stopped in for a couple of drinks. Really nice staff but the place was completely empty. We were there around 10pm so maybe too early? The prices of the drinks were about average and were nothing to special. We were one of two groups in the joint and we got out of there after a drink.

PUMA is a typical homemade Argentinian barbecue. It's a friendly new place where you will be welcomed like in an Argentinian family home. We can offer you all kinds of meat, grilled vegetables, patagonian lamb and good Argentinian wine. If you want to feel
My partner and I bumped into this place while walking around in El Calafate and we loved it.We had reservations in the evening so we were looking for a bite at lunch and a place to rest after walking 10 miles around Lago Argentino.Lo del Oso was open and so welcoming. Argentine music plays at a reasonable volume that allows you to chat. It is small, yet cosy and tastefully decorated. As they were just starting the bbq, we were given some appetizing salsa with fresh crispy bread to eat while we waited for the meal.We ordered an inexpensive menu of empanadas and choripan. The empanada was perfect, the typical rustic yet flavoursome patty. The traditional choripan, a sausage sandwich, with more of the salsa and fresh bread was perfect. All was served with chilled Argentine larger. Service was perfect and had the restaurant been closed to our hotel, we would have popped there for a more succulent dinner.Well done Lo del Oso! ( bear in mind that is the new name)

This is a great place for dinner and includes return transfer too. The food were delicious and we were left feeling absolutely full food after the meal. The waiters and waitresses performed on stage for us too. Ambience was great and service excellent.

The food here is AMAZING!!! The empanadas, the sauces, the milanesa, the bread... all so good. However, the service is shady. We tried ordering 3 bottles of wine and they didn't have any. Our waiter tried upselling a bottle but it was way too expensive. Upon seeing that we wouldn't budge, he finally offered us a bottle he magically found around the same price as the original ones we wanted; but we had to bargain for the price. The wine was incredible. However, our waiter made us feel bad for not wanting to pay a ridiculous price for wine. The shadiness left us with a bad taste and we were afraid the food was gonna be so-so, and we actually kinda wanted to leave but we were so hungry. And then something clicked with our waiter and he ended up being such a lovely person. A really weird interaction.Yet the food was good and we were sad to not have tried the beef here.

Also recommended to us by our taxi driver and it did not disappoint! Ordered the ribs, rib eye, and lamb - all were cooked perfectly cooked over a charcoal grill and topped with a chimichurri. All meats are served with colorful salad and crispy potatoes. The empanadas were SOO GOOD too - instead of ground up meat, the meat was in chunks with green onion, little bit of hard boiled eggs and perfect seasoning. It's a very small restaurant with a casual vibe. Fills up quickly at night, so arrive early if you don't want to wait. Also, definitely get the table wine - malbec that local Argentinians drink and super affordable!

Open from the 15th October to Easter Sunday inclusive. Get ready to please with our regional dishes. Our specialty is "Palo" Lamb.
This is the restaurant of the hotel Posada Los Alamos, which lies two blocks north of the main street. It is quite large, and, in addition to an excellent breakfast buffet for guests, it offers a good choice of Patagonian dishes for dinner. We had the lamb barbecue, which is cooked the traditional way on spits hung above a log fire. It was delicious, although the portions were huge. Service was friendly and attentive.

We came here for the lamb, based on TripAdvisor reviews. The lamb was delicious. We also had a flank steak, which was not as satisfying. The views over the lake are beautiful. The ambiance of the restaurant was nothing to write home about. Basically a big open room with tables. Its location is out of town and not really walkable. Service was very good. Here are pros and cons.PROS--Lamb. It was grilled to well done and wrapped in bacon. Very interesting presentation but delicious. --View. Over the lake.--Wine. Reasonably priced.--Service. Very friendly and attentive.--Big parking lot--Take credit cardsCONS--Flank steak was disappointing.--Ambiance was not special. It felt like it could have been a chain steak house in the suburbs--big room. Atmosphere was all about the views.--Not walkable from town
