Reviews on Grill food in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As North America’s northernmost large metropolis, Edmonton is a fascinating study in contrasts — a vibrant urban center in the heart of the wilderness. It’s a city that’s never been afraid to do things a little differently, as visitors discover through close encounters with free-roaming bison, a shopping mall that spans more than 48 city blocks, and a dynamic arts and culture scene that embraces more than 40 annual festivals, including the continent’s biggest and wildest Fringe Theatre Festival.

Looking to clear my mind from the work week me and a few friends went to the russel peters, had a great time awesome show, but the cherry on top of the pie was the after party at brewhouse. We arrived at the bar itâs in full swing finding a seat was hard so we posted up at the bar and Erika came to the rescue serving us at the bar we forgot about getting a table. Best brew night yet, but there will be more to come!Thank you so much for your thoughtful note about your experience at our location! We are so happy you enjoyed your time at our restaurant!

My husband and I have been to the North Canadian Brewhouse on a few occasions because I enjoy the appetizers and music and my husband enjoys the beer and sports. We usually order a few different appetizers. We couldn't finish them this time. This is not normal for us. The Salt and Pepper chicken wings were dry and meatless and the Spinach Dip was extremely salty and floating in grease. The only item that was good was the dill pickles. I am very disappointed as I had pretty good food in the past. I will not be returning to the restaurant. I would not recommend the restaurant at this time.We appreciate your review and feedback. I'm very sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience and would really like to discuss it with you. Please email me at [email protected] so we can follow up and provide a much better time the next time you join us!

Lounge and dining room work perfectly in the middle of some great shopping on the city's south side.
Came here for Happy Hour a few weeks ago. Ordered a few drinks and food items off the Happy Hour menu. Everything tasted fine but a few hours afterwards, at 3am, I woke up with abdominal pain and spent the next hour in the bathroom. I would rather not go into details as to what happened in the bathroom but suffice it to say, it was not pleasant.Won't be going back there again, that's for sure.We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. If you have anything more to share with us, please contact me at [email protected].

We picked this place for all the good reviews, but really... not impressed. Service not overly friendly and super slow and the place wasn't even half full. The food took 50min! for a burger and a sandwich!? The food was ok, but nothing to write home about either. Sorry, not for meWow! We're really sorry to hear about this! We would love to connect with you further so we can ensure this never happens again. If you wouldn't mind, please email me at [email protected] so we can further discuss. Thank you for your review and I hope to hear from you soon.

Chop Steakhouse's South Edmonton restaurant features steak, seafood and drink specials; located near Gateway Blvd & Calgary Trail at the Sandman Hotel.
3 of us went to CHOP -Ellerslie Road- for dinner. Our first visit. As the name implies it is primarily a Steak House (beef primarily) although the do have pasta, fish and chicken as well for entrees. Decent array of appy's, and salads as well. It is/was Lobster week/month as well. One had maple haddock, one had tuna and I had a 7oz sirloin. You can order any of their beef entrees as is-i.e with potato only or upgrade it to have soup/salad and seasonal veggies with it as well as the potato. I did not upsize. Food was quite good, my steak was very tender and cooked perfectly. The 2 fish entree's were also reported as very good too. None of us had an appy or any starter, we weren't all the famished so can't comment on those. Service was good server friendly. Although the dining room wasn't overly busy (Wednesday night 6:30 ish) the bar seemed to be extremely busy. CHOP and the Keg are interchangeable in my opinion. Both have decent, somewhat overpriced food. However as there are no "independent" steak houses that I know of in Edmonton (Calgary has Cattle Baron) these places will have to do. Dinner for 3 (w/o booze, tip, coffee, desert) $100Hey Brian, just want to say thank you first of all for leaving this thorough review of your experience! We definitely have some menu options with varying price ranges throughout, and it seems you didn't get the chance to try our appetizers (I highly suggest the steak bites) As you mentioned our lounge has been getting quite busy with the new happy hour menu we revamped this summer! Seems to be a big hit in our lounges across the company. We will try and aim for that 5th star next time you come through! - Houston, Assistant Manager

Contemporary Canadian Fire Roasted Cooking. Experience the aroma of cooking on flames and the warmth of a central fireplace. Be surrounded by rich colours and natural elements of rock, wood and metal; and take in highlights of petroglyphs and artwork fro
This place has a really nice atmosphere. A classy place but where you don't feel underdressed if you're in jeans. Staff is friendly, service was great. We ordered the half roast chicken dinner served with mashed potatoes, gravy & vegetables. We also ordered a side basket of Bannok. Great flavours, good value for your money.

Cheerful servers and good food here. They get the basics right here and every member of staff we came across were cheerful. Prices, if a bit lowered would be even better.
