The metropolitan boroughs of Barnsley, as the county town, Doncaster, and Rotherham, were created in 1974, and incorporated with the city of Sheffield into the metropolitan county of South Yorkshire.

Never again after 15 years of good service ,new staff portions have shrunk service has gone to the dogs very very disappointed what a shame.Was the best in Doncaster now the worst sorry.We aim in training all our staff to have high customer service skills & all our fish is delivered fresh daily, along with other daily fresh preparations from our chefs / cooks & service staff. First visit on a fairly quiet Sunday afternoon. Nice decor and pleasant staff. Service was prompt and attentive. We had a rib eye and a fillet steak which we both found excellent. Good value food and a good and reasonably priced wine list.Lost one star because location is poor and the choice of draft beers and lagers is very limited, otherwise excellent all round.
