This was a return visit, and we found it just as good the second time. Very good food, friendly service, and a nice vibe. Special mention for the chef, who worked like mad in the open kitchen, preparing 7 different meals for two tables all at once. We were impressed!

There was a little disappointment when the food we had ordered was not available due to a mix up with the menu's. The management immediately went above and beyond professionalism and kindness, leaving us feeling very valued customers. The food was excellent and we will obviously return to enjoy another pleasurable visit. Thank you!

Short notice booking, received an excellent service, steaks turned up as asked for, asked if we where happy, landlord even come over to see if we needed anything and where happy, rare in today's busy pubs, will visit again

If you are anywhere near Devizes and itâs meal time, do yourself s huge favour and get yourself the The Bear Hotel!! The meals are beautifully presented, a feast for the eyes....then you taste!! Delicious!! The flavours are tantalising. You will NOT be disappointed!! The staff are lovely. AND efficient. The atmosphere in this lovely hotel is relaxed, and age old opulent. It evokes thoughts of the past. Would try everything on the menu if I had time!!
