Met a buddy here last night to catch up and grab dinner. It was great that all burgers were 6.99 and even the tall beers weren't too expensive. For those who need to stay overnight, it's right next door to a hotel.

Stopped in for a snack Christmas night as this was the only place open in town. They had a line in drive through and we went into the dining room. Given it was busy I figured that we'd at least get some fresh food. I was wrong. At Burger King, as far as I can tell, the meat patties are prepared in advance, but they build the sandwiches, wrap them and then warm them up in the microwave. I have no problem for this except I think they skipped the microwave step for our sandwiches. So we had cold meat and vegetables that weren't warmed up at all. It was terrible. As far as service goes, I said to the cashier, "Thanks for working today", as I know that no one wants to work Christmas. He replied by explaining to me that he didn't want to work and that they made everyone work. I get that, which is why I expressed my appreciation for his working, but why complain to the person being nice to you? We won't be back; maybe if it's the only place open, but only then.
