A small cosy place, where you can enjoy low budget eastern mediterranean food, along with great jazz music, drinking fresh local beer on the stairs of the Chania Agora. Vegeterian and vegan food also offered: falafel, fresh homemade fried potatoes and gri
Original kebab with great surrounding atmosphere. Fast service, friendly staff and deli on the go! Should try this again on my next visit.

This family business runs for over sixty years now (you meet three generations), in the style we, Greeks, call âButchers Tavernâ. That means you come, choose the meat you want from the butchers department and have it grilled in charcoals. Using traditiona

an absolutely brilliant restaurant serving traditional Cretan/Greek food in a pedestrian walkway in Chania. This pedestrian walkway is full of small cafes, sweets-shops and tavernas.
We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it ended up being one of our favourite restaurants, visiting it twice. I'd definitely recommend the trahanoto - we'd never had it before and it was delicious. Their cheese saganaki, smoked pork ribs and cured meat pie were also highlights. The house wine is also good and service was efficient.

I hate to leave a bad review, 2 rather than 1 as the manager took off the cost of the plate (after much deliberation) as dangerously pink pork was served on one of the plates The other plate was only half eaten by my wife.I ate most of mine, except the dangerously pink bits Avoid like the plague Walk.futther in to the town away from the harbour for better quality (as advised by a trusted taxi firm and hotel owner - Silly us!!)What offended me most was the attitude of the management? Even though they agreed the meat was not fit for human consumption, they still (at first) requested Inpaid for the half a plate eaten (whilst completely dismissing what my wife had to say about her plate)2* is generous!! Good luck if wating hereYou didnât write us if something happened to you after you ate the biggest dish of our restaurant....you never complain during your dinner only at the end when itâs was time to pay .... also you didnât mention that you threat me first that if I charge it you write a bad review you on TripAdvisor... I told you then you were rude and you ask me many times that you were sorry....and you finally didnât pay the meal because we never argue for a piece of meat ...Iâm sorry ....you force me to answer.... Iâm honest so you have to be ...

We arrived desperately looking for somewhere to watch the football (Championship play off final) and the lovely owner duly obliged. He both wanted to ensure we could watch the game and didnât intrude on those not interested. They had the full range of sky sports channels so suspect could show any sport you are after. What is amazing about this place is that it isnât a sports bar - we could sit outside in a lovely setting and enjoy the game in the sun rather than stuck inside a sports bar. We had excellent beer and the saganaki was fantastic. So friendly - we can not recommend this place enough and are very grateful they put the game on for us!

Our aim is to provide simple, tasty food at affordable prices in a relaxed atmosphere. Our restaurant opens mid April till end of October.
Since the restaurant has received good recommendations here at trip advisor, we had to visit it now we live nearby. However it was somekind of a dissapointment. The food was ok but not nearly as good as expected given the recommendations. We had Four different dishes and it was filing, but nothing special. The staff were friendly but more interested in putting on headphones and watching videos on the internet. What did you have? 4 dishes is not really helpful! What do you conciser special? A unicorn stake maybe? The "staff" with the headphones watching videos on the internet was the owner who had a day off and what I do on my day off is none of your business. My job is NOT to keep you company or entertain you mate. Go get some friends... Lefty.

I booked the Theodosi for my Partners Birthday evening as we spent a week in Crete. The food was exceptional, and the staff very friendly to. The portions were surprising, as we ordered a starter which when it was delivered to us looked more the size of a main course, the tatses though were so good we just couldn't not eat it.Thoroughly recommend a visit for a great evening out.Happy birthday once again! It was a pleasure hosting your birthday event! I am pleased you loved the food and the staff took good care of you during your stay. See you again on your next dinner out in Chania town!
