Reviews on Grill food in Bristol, England, United Kingdom. Bristol is a quirky British city with beautiful hilly vistas and plenty of historic sights to explore. Anyone interested in ships will have a blast aboard Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first great oceanliner, and the Matthew, a replica of the ship upon which John Cabot sailed to America in the 15th century. The graceful Clifton Suspension Bridge is another must-see.

The food is very good, we had a nice meal. The interesting evening because the power went out several times on the entire block. It is when you see the staff in a situation like this that you can tell they are customer centric. They worked hard to keep everyone happy and engaged during what was a very stressful evening. We enjoyed the evening.

Having eaten greek food in many restaurants with varying degrees of success. This rates as one of the best. Small in size but the food was not small in stature. Good portions great flavour great price. Small restaurant small menu (good thing) what they do they do well. Would definitely eat here again and I will be recommending it to my friends at work.

I have just returned home after afternoon tea at The River Grille. The staff were very attentive and the service was great however the vintage afternoon tea was very top heavy with sweet cakes and very little savoury, for me it was to sweet and I wouldnât visit for this tea again, just a couple more sandwiches and maybe a bite size piece of quiche and less cake would have been better. If you love all sweet things then this maybe for you.Dear whitby2217,thank you for taking time to write a review from your recent visit to the River Grille.I'm sorry the afternoon tea wasn't up to your liking, we are reviewing the cake and sandwich selection with our executive head Chef Pawel.I'll also make sure that our front of house team is aware of your kind words about the service. I'm disappointed to read you would not return and if this is something you wish to discuss further, please feel free to contact me directly on [email protected] regardsJan HollAssistant F&B Manager
