Bakar (Italian: Buccari, Hungarian: Szádrév) is a town in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia. The largest ethnic minority are the Serbs with 2.91% of the population. The old part of Bakar is situated on a hill overlooking the Bay of Bakar. "Bakar" is the Croatian word for copper.

I had the pleasure of going to this restaurant with friends and totally enjoyed the experience. The menu is broad and very interesting indeed. This alone sets this restaurant appart from most in Rijeka. The service and the knowledge shown by the waiters was excellent as was the ambience. The dishes we ordered were cooked beautifully and the presentation was fantastic. The wine list is extensive and all in all i would definitely recommend Opera to anyone.

This restaurant is in the establishment known for years as âPul Belogaâ. The old owner has retired and the new one continues in the same direction. This is a no-nonsense approach with simple and good domestic food for a reasonable price. Actually, the terrace is much nicer than before but it still misses its own parking. Warning: do not park on the street, it is forbidden and you will get a ticket!

I must admit that I was a bit suspicious about a restaurant located in a warehouse of the huge shopping mall... it didnât look promising. But I was reassured the minute we stepped in it! It is a huge space, connected with a bowling alley and many other amusement features, but it is also a comfortable dining room with excellent food and service. As we live in the neighborhood, my wife and I went there several times in the last two months and we were very pleased every time. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is fast and efficient, and the prices are very fair. Highly recommended, even if you are not a fan of bowling...

Location is unique, because is located on a local stadium, We eat domestic pasta with mushrooms and grill, and it was good. Big portions and great hospitality. And sweets are great!Just don't expect michelin stars restaurant :)

The food here was simply amazing. You can sit on the patio or inside, overlooking the Adriatic. The service was prompt and friendly. It may be worth eating here just to enjoy the beauty of the restaurant. The sea bream with shrimp sauce was world class! The portions are large as well. Pizza Urinj is really special and recommended. I usually come to this restaurant just because of it. Would give it 5 stars if anchovies on pizza would fluctuate on quality each time I was there. Should always use best possible ingredients.

Excellent food and home made cuisine, local specialities, very friendly staff. The place is very popular during early brunch and lunch time, so mostly all the tables are occupied and count to wait for a free table during that busy period. It's worth waiting because portions are plentiful and very tasty. Big terrace outside during summer time.Huge parking lot accommodates all cars just few steps from the venue.
