Find out what Greek restaurants to try in Winnipeg. Any city that can be the butt of a Simpson's joke ("That's it! We're all going back to Winnipeg!") and simultaneously one of the most vibrant cultural centers in Canada is tops in our book. The city's history of isolation and self-sufficiency means that Winnipeggers are unpretentious and sincere (and fun-loving enough to name Homer an honorary citizen). Though the winters are long and cold, there are plenty of indoor activities to both keep you warm and stimulate your imagination.

Well Iâve read the reviews and it doesnât even seem like the same restaurant we just had fantastic fare in. We were greeted by George like friends. Plus made to feel like we weâre the only ones there, even tho it was very busy for a Monday night. We shared spanakopita, mousakka and lemon potatoes. It came with garlic toast which was yummy and a fresh greek salad. The vegetables on the plate were wonderful - the carrots had been cooked in a broth and were some of the nicest of eaten. We were recommended beverages and I had soda drink with amaretto. Hubby enjoyed his sultana lake of the woods beer. I loved every mouthful of our food. Thanks for a delicious meal. Weâre looking forward to the baklava we bought home for desert!

Stopped by for a gyro and was really impressed. The restaurant was busy but my order was taken quick (gyro) and the food was ready in no time. The gyro was very fresh and tasty with lots of lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. Definitely great value for money paid and I will definitely be back to try some of their other food as everything looked good.

We stopped in for a family feast and had a very enjoyable time with tons of good food. The service overall was very good despite the fact they were 'hopping' busy. As always, the gyro platters with half and half (Greek salad and fries) were spot on. I love the lemon chicken soup. Full flavour broth with lots of goodies in the soup.Another hit was the Veggie pita platter. The kids disk of chicken souvlaki was a hit as well. The portions are generous and all the food was hot when it hit the table. A great dinning experience

Tight parking but lots of room to sit down in the Restaurant. Seated quickly and menus are at the table. Service was prompt and we had burgers and fries/ onion rings.Burger buns were large and heavy so they distracted from the burgers. Fries were great but onion rings somewhat greasy.Prices are certainly higher than the last time.Overall we will go back but not for awhile.
