I ordered pork chops and asked the waiter to have them cooked medium rare. They came out well done. Because of time I ate them. When we paid the owner asked how our dinner was and I compained about the pork chops. He said he went to cooking school & that was how they were supposed to be cooked. I said that in other diners I ask for medium rare & they come out that way. He said they are cooking them wrong and said next time don't order them. I said maybe I would order them at a different diner. He said "good Idea". Nice guy. Good bye Lindenhurst Diner. There used to be an old husbands tale that pork had to be cooked till well done as it had some sort of worm or something. This is no longer true (if it ever was) and you can now cook pork until it is medium or medium rare. It's nice to walk in and see the familiar aces at Greek Garden. We go there often for breakfast and they handle our special requests graciously. We do take out from there for dinner and are not disappointed.
