Reviews on Greek food in Weimar, Thuringia, Germany. Weimar was quite the intellectual hotspot back in the day, with Goethe, Friedrich Schiller, Bach, Liszt, Lucas Cranach and the Weimar School all spending time here. Goethe groupies will enjoy visiting his home, his tomb and the museum dedicated to him. If you’re in search of great food, visit during the Weimar Onion Market, held in October. (Just don’t forget your mints.)

This was a very good restaurant! Friendly service with a smile and a joke too, quick and attentive to us. We were a party of 10 and everybody loved the food, nobody complained at all. I ordered #120 "El greco" part of the speciality dishes and it had fries, salad and the main dish too so it was a very generous portion which didn't leave me hungry! Your typical Greek style restaurant, with great food - what's not to like?

During our recent stay at Weimar we had diner in this restaurant twice. Both times, we enjoyed the delicious Greek food and nice Greek wines. This restaurant does not serve only the typical Greek dishes, like gyros and moussaka. You really have to try the Stifado which was awesome. Together with a glas (or even a bottle) of Greek wine, you will feel like being in Greece. But be aware, the portions are really big. And you get everything for very reasonable prices. If we would ever return to Weimar, we already know now that this restaurant will be on our list. Please note you cannot pay with credit cards in this restaurant.

After getting to know the place through a Greek friend of mine, I barely spent a Friday night not attending this restaurant. It offers more than just delicious food. The cozy environment combined with the friendly staff makes a great experience for the guests which can not be forgotten. In order to enjoy even more, the guests are free to use the inner area, as well as the outer space.
