A traditional Greek taverna is âKapaki Sto Kapakiâ on the main Avenue of Tripolis. Traditional beef, pork, chicken, souvlaki, grilled and baked dinners are served. Prices range from 6 to 10 euros. I ordered grill chicken fillet with lemon and rice. The atmosphere gives the person a feel of Old Greece. Nothing can compare with a homecooked dinner in a traditional Arcadian house.

Grand Chalet: Greek Cuisine at its best. The spicy food was upsetting me. I would go to Grand Chalet at night to order grilled chicken, unsalted rice and grilled vegetables. The food came with sliced lemon. It was delicious and prepared with care. The owner was very pleasant. Stop by.
Tiny backstreet authentic restaurant, with truculent bald locals dotted around, smoking and arguing and old-style Greek music playing. Menu in Greek but waiter was very helpful and explained everything. Tsatsiki was the best I had in Tripoli and moussaka was tremendous. Terrific value too - total cost was under 10â¬! Definitely recommended.

The Grillbar servers the best souvlaki/gyro and burgers in town. Every time I visit Tripoli it's a must that I eat from The Grillbar. Prices are excellent with good portions.

recommended by the hotel clerk and she was very right. One of the best modern Greek kitchens at moderate prices. We were early at about 8.00 clock and the tavern was empty which seemed strange, however, one hour later it was full! So go early for Greek standards or book in advance. We had a full course of tradsitional Greek food but it was light and not bathed in oil. Nobody smoked inside and no smart phones were used.

Restaurant "22100" is the effort of two young people who, despite the financial crisis, believe in the enduring value of quality in everything one does. Greek and Mediterranean flavors with a twist of differentiation in an environment which we believe to
Eating in Tripolis,Arcadia, is a great experience! You can find special and unusual menus. That 's why 22100 is something different.A great variety of dishes, excellent taste, good service.Try it!

We came to Peinakothiki when looking for a decent place to eat while driving from Kalamata to Athens. Thank you previous Trip Advisor reviewers for your reviews which led us here. It's not too far off the highway to Athens and definitely worth it! Unless you're vegetarian go for the meat. The waiter told us the owner has his own animals. We tried the liver (it's amongst the hoeurs d'oeuvres but the size of the portion is that of a main dish!) and the T-bone steak. Both amongst the tastiest I have had. The Pinakothiki salad (the small size is enough for 3 people), the beet roots and the saffron rice were also excellent. The fries? Delicious! And I do not normally eat fries. The Kagianna (a kind of scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions) was excellent too. And they have desserts - not often found in traditional Greek restaurants. Child friendly.Service excellent and fast. Free wifi. Excellent value for money. The only negative is that unfortunately as in many restaurants in Greece some clients were smoking indoors. All in all though an extremely pleasant stop which we have since repeated!

Had lunch here a few days ago and still thinking about how great it was.The Greek salad was on point. The moussaka was fantastic and the daily special (rooster and local pasta in tomato sauce) was also excellent.Besides the food, the ambience, sitting in the garden under the grape vines made for a very special lunch.Would highly recommend stopping at Klimataria Piteros if you're in Tripoli.

A fantastic dining experience. The food is quite top-notch in all aspects and the staff extremely friendly, attentive, and accommodating. While visiting it was packed and we were lucky to even find a table to accommodate us, and for good reason. An essential stop if you're in or near Tripoli.
