Good menu, average prices, very good food. The server was also very good. Very interesting place. One side is outdoors, and kinda noisy, and sort of sports bar-like. The other side is quiet, with nice ambiance, and feels a bit fancy. We had the stuffed shrimp, and the ribs. Both were very good. We came here as an alternative, as our first choice was packed. There were enough people here, but there was available searing, as well. We ended up being very happy that we came here instead. A very nice dinner, without a bunch of loud people, and screaming kids. Definitely recommend.

Gaufres & Goods

Discovered this restaurant about three years ago in its original location a block away. When we returned, it was gone. Very disappointed, we walked around the block and Viola!, there it was in the location of the former DeNoel restaurant, on Charlotte Street. Well, time to chow down, which we did! We visited again this week with childhood friends visiting from Cleveland (which has a large Greek AND Polish community, so we know authentic ethnic food). All four of us were completely pleased and satisfied with our selections. Three ate Greek, I ate Polish (which I always do here). PERFECT!!! I asked for some bread so I could mop up the remaining tomato sauce from the stuffed cabbage roll. Cleaned the plate! Thank you and we can't wait to return to St Augustine and another visit to Gaufres.

Georgie's Diner

After visiting the latest top-rated TA breakfast spots in St. Augustine (Blue Hen, Kookaburra) it was nice to take a break from the gimmicky. At Georgie’s you’ll find a basic breakfast menu, nothing fancy, but quality and portions are above average. Notables - the home fries are some of the best I’ve had; the fruit cup includes a nice assortment (only 2 small pieces of honeydew!) Prices are fair. Atmosphere is diner-like with outside seating available.
