Things to do in Sachse
This is a neighborhood gem! If you like Mediterranean food and live near Sachse, this place is worth your time. The family who owns it is incredibly nice and generous. My husband is addicted to the loaded gyro fries and their hummus. Iâve had the chicken doner fries, the falafel and the chicken with rice. We love their spicy sauce! I hope they expand their menu someday, but I will continue to eat there even if they donât! (Maybe they will have baba ganoush or Pide)

I ordered a meal for pick up. I waited over 10 minutes for my food only to discover that my food had been sitting up front all along. The cashier/hostess and young man at the front were to busy chatting each other up to even check on my order or realize they had an order sitting right there. When I told them they should pay better attention they were rude and indignant. Given they only had 4 tables to wait on at the time, their inattention to detail or any offer to bring me a warm meal was inexcusable. I paid over 20 dollars for a cold meal. I came here regularly for food, but this will be last time.

My new favorite gluten-free (friendly) place.Food was all very delicious! We ordered the manchego cheese, the truffle fries, the seared brussel sprouts, and a seafood risotto with shrimp, salmon, and red snapper. The wine was excellent especially for the price point. The wait staff took excellent care of us. We hope to get Guy as a server again. The gluten-free chocolate cake was a fantastic finish. It would be nice if they carried it a gluten free beer.Hi Keith,Thank you for dining with us and sharing your experience! We are constantly exploring new gluten-free friendly options and we are honored to be considered one of your favorites. I will make sure to share your kind comments with Guy. Our beer distributor is looking into some new gluten-free beer options for us and if they make it on the menu we'll reach out and let you know. We look forward to seeing you again soon!Cheers,Burak

Opa! Greek Taverna is a full service restaurant located on highway 66 and Rowlett Rd. We serve lunch and dinner seven days a week and provide a full service bar to go along with our amazing Greek food. See you soon OPA!
I've eaten at Opa a couple of times now when visiting my mom as it is one of her favorite local restaurants. The food is always excellent, the service prompt and friendly and I will happily return. They are also helpful and accommodating for diners with food allergies and sensitivities. The roast chicken is fabulous, tender and good, and the lima beans are worth a detour. Needless to say, I will return.
