I like these old style traditional German eating places. Its the real thing, not tourist junk. This place takes care to serve quality - but does so in the farmhouse manner that makes traditional German food so hearty with a few beers. Rcommended.

I have eaten on three occasions at the Aphrodite and have always been impressed by the standard of food. The restaurant offers a fine selection of Greek dishes at very affordable prices. The standard of cooking is very good and I was recently impressed by the service. The side salads available for most dishes are varied and nicely dressed. The general atmosphere is relaxed and stress-free

We went here without a reservation on a Friday evening and had to make a booking for later on that night because they had no tables available. It is a very popular place.We had grilled octopus as a starter, followed by two 'Fino' platters. The octopus was perhaps the most tender one we had ever had. The platters were great, too. However, the salads came smothered in some sticky dressing and there was way too much salt on the potatoes and the meats. Shame, because otherwise it would have been a truly good meal.

Here you will find a Greek cuisine which is a modern and very tasty variant . Nice atmosphere , very stylish and modern . friendly, professional service , very attentive . Finely tuned dishes that taste great and always leave you wanting more . We were always very satisfied !

Located in the city center of Ratingen, this restaurant offers quite a variety of greek specialties. We enjoyed the warm feta cheese with salad and some appetizers, all really good and tasty, reminded me of Greece itself. It would have been nicer to have more space outside to enjoy the view.
