It is a Coffee-Bar done with respect to the Greek tradition on the top of Pyrgos hill.We serve a selection of coffee, fresh fruit drinks, milk shakes, ice creams and desserts. Some appetizers and light food are available.Aperitifs and cocktails are our pri
The cafe is beautiful and the situation is exactly what you envision when you picture yourself sipping a drink and eating light bites/snacks overlooking Santorini. We had a wonderful time eating yummy local food under a canopy in the shade on a beautiful and spacious terrace high above Pyrgos. The service, food, and setting were are all great. Definitely a wonderful place!

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation from our hotel manager. We didnât get disappointed. The food was great, the service was friendly and professional. The sunset view was spectacular. We ordered Santorini salad, tzatziki, smoked eggplant, local sausages and finally the soup of the day. The food was tasty and good portion. The prices slightly higher than in Kamari but you have a great view to enjoy the sunset. Depending on the season you go you might need to reserve a table. We didnât and still got a table. We would like to return again.

We made reservations a few days before because when we initially tried to get reservations for the next day they couldn't get us a table until after 10 pm. We sat outside and had a nice conversation with a couple from Ohio that visits Santorini every year and this is their favorite spot. My wife had the octopus and loved it, her favorite meal of the whole trip to Greece. Good service in a non rushed atmosphere.

We ate here several times during our stay and stopped off for morning coffee daily! The atmosphere is informal and friendly with excellent quick service. The staff remembered us after the first couple of visits and were always very welcoming and chatty. The food is delicious. They have some of the local dishes; fava, tomato fritters etc and great menu of main courses. Every day there are specials. I had grilled fish twice and it was excellent on both occasions. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Bad experience We are Greeks so we know about good tastes and quality. The food was ok, as traditional cooking, but the prices were too expensive according the portion. They are stealing the clients with these prices.I know we are in Santorini which is expensive , but these small portion of food is unacceptable, have the same prices but with bigger quantity! These seems that you do not respect the clients.I told the owner about it and he was really rude towards me!I was really dissapointed!! I do not recommend it at all!!!Good eveningFirst of all the only person that came from the first moment with a mood to fight was you. You were rude and ironic to the staff of the restaurant from the very beginning, from the moment you sat at the table. When you came in to pay you started shouting, pointing your finger to me and coming straight at my face like you wanted to throw a punch as I was keeping my distance. And people saw that! Your own company was telling you to leave but you continued to shout and yell by yourself. You found me rude just because I was telling you the absolute truth about some specific dishes that you mentioned and the prices about the ingredients of those. In Santorini prices are expensive yes, but we as a restaurant bring the finest and best quality ingredients from all over Greece and that equals more transfer fees. You mentioned how much you buy these ingredients at your village or your local market but that is totally irrelevant as the prices are NOT the same there and here. Also, locals that saw you came in later and told me that they've seen you doing the exact same thing in other places also, and that it is a habit of yours. So the conversation ends here. You can read the rest of the reviews of the restaurant as an answer to youself. Thank you very much for this though.

We shared a beautiful lunch here on a recent trip to Santorini. The food, surroundings and service were superb! The servings are large so shared starters are a great idea. There is also an air conditioned small function room if needed, but the restaurant is cool on a hot day with great views.Dear mrswilliamson,Thank you very much for your time reviewing Pyrgos restaurant. It really means a lot to us!We are looking forward to welcoming you in the future!

BOTARGO is a unique Restaurant & Bar set in the grandeur of a 18th century Mansion on top of Santorini, in the medieval fortress of Pyrgos, Kasteli. With its doors always wide open BOTARGO is an establishment with high aesthetics, true hospitality, Greek
We had an excellent experience here while on our honeymoon. We sat on the balcony and had a beautiful view. The food was delicious and the service was great. Each course came with a special olive oil pairing which was really interesting. The restaurant itself is incredibly romantic and quiet- it was such a special dinner. We definitely would go back!

The restaurant established in 2018 using traditional recipes of Santorini and all over the Greece . We cook the traditional recipes adding some modern flavours. Our restaurant is housed in old windmill. The name has its source from the wind, because in Py
You must sit on the terrace and watch the sun set over the roof tops. Slightly compromised by a fairly busy road junction, but very good food and affordable. Lovely staff. Pics tell a very glamourous story which isn't really the reality.

If youâre looking for a beach to spend the day at, youâve found it. Yalos is essentially a trendy beach club with its own private beach, serving awesome cocktails and great food. The restaurant setting is pretty special. The kitchen is actually in a cave built into the cliffs, right on the beach. The day beds and cabanas available for hire are so comfortable, you can spend an entire day lounging here. The seated tables are free of charge. We didnât expect to eat here, but we were having such a nice and relaxing day that we decided to stay for the whole afternoon. I am glad we decided to stay for lunch because otherwise we wouldâve missed out on a great meal. Yalos does it all well. And the service was super friendly. If youâre right on the beach, you should be ordering seafood. Which is what we did. The mussels in white wine was a nice change and the stuffed squid was perfectly tender. They also do non-seafood dishes, the saffron risotto was a winner. We visited in September 2018 so this is a late review but I am trying to make an effort to recommend my favourite places we visited on our Europe trip!
