This was my second visit in 3 days, The first time I had mixed souvlaki this time we had Meze which is a selection of dishes including grilled Halloumi, loukaniga, Tava, a selection of bbq meats ( chicken, lamb and pork), chips, mousakka, chips mixed with marrow and egg, koiftethes and a selection of dips bread and pitta bread. Wash down with a few keo beers. The result is one of the best meals Iâve ever had with great friendly service.
We visited 'The Pervoliana Tavern' on several occasions during our Cyprus visit. The restaurant is family owned and run.Leon is the 'Mine Host' He welcomes his customers, then with great efficiency serves the drinks and food. The food is prepared and cooked by Leon's parents (Oriana and Chris) and is second to none.Sheftalia fantastic, all the way through to Pork Chop and even Spaghetti.A 'MUST VISIT' tavern on a visit to Cyprus.Pervolia is a short drive from Larnaca but well worth it.

Situated in Pervolia, Soutsos Greek Tavern embodies the character of the Mediterranean islands; with its mouthwatering Cypriot âmezeâ and spectacular local wines, this is ultimately the place to be for dinner on a perfect, starry night. Newly renovated bu

Drinks expensive, same as beachside reataurants on Phinikoudes and Mackenzie (5.50 small beer) and told only do cypriot drinks bit didnt have Keo!!!!Meze was at least a 3rd more expensive than most and nearly all dishes came with sickly sweet sauces that we had to remove to eat. Was told 50/50 veg and meat ( as we had vegetarian with us) but only had 3 dishes of meat, one was liver not prepared correctly so had sinew/veins in it so was chewy and not nice at all. Salads very basic and small portions (one had five cherry tomatoes and a small handful of leaves, another was three leaves of cos lettuce, droopy and not cleaned). Tried to be trendy but was so unpalatable we couldnt eat it, they probably thought we were full but just didnt want anymore by last course and not once asked how we liked it. We all like a twist on traditional but not when its not tasty. It was anniversary meal for my parents (mum is diabetic) and she could not eat hardly anything. Felt embarrassed that we took them there.Would not recommend at all

We stumbled across this restaurant while out walking faro beach. The couple who run it were very friendly and explained the gluten free choices on the menu to my wife. She enjoyed the prawn salad starter and grilled fish main as did our daughter, while my granddaughter and i had spaghetti. The local wine was 3 Euros for a large glass and my local beer was equally cheap, both were very drinkable. The total bill for four was just over 50 euros, a real find.

Our extended family of ten are here twice while staying in a nearby beach front villa. The location right on a headland offers stunning views, which goes well with the good menu choice on offer. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were friendly.

This is a tavern one of many in this town just outside Kite and near Lanarca. It is typical of taverns and street names are difficult to find even if they exist
We went here 4 times while in Cyprus, it's a real family run taverna. All the food is homemade and tastes absolutely amazing. We had the meze twice and we were beaten twice, we tried really hard but we did have a great breakfast the next morning.A massive thank you to Andy and Ells for taking us here, loved eating here. We ate here twice during a recent holiday in the Larnaca area. On both occasions the grilled chicken kebab was very nice but the seafood was not up to the same standard - the grilled king prawns lacked flavour and the fish kebab (from the Indian section of the menu) had an odd texture (I don't know what kind of fish this was). The portions were really generous so you won't leave hungry. The service was a little variable ... on the first visit (a busy Friday night) they were friendly and efficient but strangely, not quite so much on the really quiet Sunday night.
