Decided to give this place a try after coming across it on Trip Advisor. I ordered the Lamb Schwarma combo and chose falafels as my side. My wife ordered a greek salad with gyro meat. We also tried an order of Hummus. Everthing was very good, and the restaurant seemed moderately clean for being in an old Cap'n D's or maybe a former chicken joint. I would definitely come back and next time probably order the lamb shank.

I asked my 13 year old son if he was up for a food adventure and he said sure. So we visited Oasis Café for lunch. We couldn't decide on one dish so we split the ultimate meat lover combination plate. We each kept exclaiming "This is SO good!" after each bite we took. The plate included hummus, Arabian salad, chicken and beef shawarma, beef kafta kabob, gyro meat, one pita (cut into fourths), and rice. The Arabian salad was absolutely divine, and the chicken and beef shawarma was tender and flavorful. The reasons I'm only giving it a 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the atmosphere and price. You order at counter and the food is brought on Styrofoam plates. The décor was dated and there was some wear and tear. It wasn't the cleanest restaurant. The lack of cleanliness, the fact that it wasn't a sit-down restaurant and the small portion size made it hard to pay $18 for one meal and two drinks. I felt that the price compared to the serving size was disproportionate. Even though the meat lover's plate sounded like a lot of food, there were only a few small pieces of each meat and only one pita that was cut into fourths. It was enough for one person, but I'm not willing to pay that much for a meal at a fast food style restaurant. The amazing quality and taste of the food will guarantee that I will return, but I will not be ordering a $12 meal because I did not feel like it was $12 worth of food. I'll stick with one of the cheaper sandwich options.
