Great atmosphere, outstanding service and fantastic food prepared and served from the local family of this Tavern. Food is the best to date we've had after two weeks in Peloponnese and everything at a reasonable price. Can't wait to return, you won't be disappointed.

As I said in the title the food was average especially the octopus. If you like to go you have to expect to pay two euros a bite which doesn't really worth it. With so many choices around its not recommend.

Yiannis is a fisherman and his wife, Elpida, runs the restaurant. This is the best place to in Neapolis enjoy fresh fish. Side dishes include whatever local greens are available, generally called "horta", french fries, Greek salad, and seasonal vegetables. Call ahead to reserve red mullet. At the Liminaki, the fish available is truly the "catch of the day"!

Costas runs front of house while his dad does produces delicious treats in the kitchen. Together they create meals that satisfy the soul and the stomach. Even more exciting, we dined there on Costas' name day, so his enthusiasm and good cheer were infectious.Try the local-style cheese and spearmint pie - an unusual combination on paper, a wonderful pairing for your palate. Grilled octopus tentacles done just right. Everything was better than expected. And forget your smart phone - the decor has more than enough local memorabilia and sailor-themed items to keep your in conversation all night.

Heat service, full menu with huge choises and very friendly staff. Although Greek traditional tavern with Mediterranean Greek plates, pizza margarita was very good and spaghetti very nice. All fresh food and normal to cheap prices. You have to visit it.

Traditional Greek taverna food, good, but not exceptional. The reason to go to Ama Laki for a meal is for the expansive view over Neapolis and Vatika Bay. Huge plane trees shade the platea below the charming church at Kalenia, next to the taverna. Do as locals do and bring your own container and fill it with cool, pure water at the spring below the church

Gefsiplous is locates just next to the sea which gives you an amazing view to have while you eat. We arrived 5 persons at 21:00 and the place was busy. Even though there were many people and only three waitresses they managed to do a very good job. The menu is in English and they have a lot of exciting choices to eat. I asked our waiter what she would recommend me in terms of the main dishes and she recommended the “Pork Tenderloin” which I had with the potato twister, fried feta with honey and a salad. The last two mentioned dishes were good, but my pork tenderloin was very dry to eat, and was a bit disappointing. Otherwise everything was good and I can recommend this spot!

Stopped here on our way to visit the petrified forest (which you should visit without any esitation to bath in the bay with crystal clear tourquoise water!!): could not have better luck! Neraida is one of the best place we've eaten during our journey in Peloponneso. Vintage stylish taverna, plenty of black&white pictures from the 50' and 60', excellent service with hand written menu (in English and Italian too!), delicious food which was a mix between tradition dishes revisited and local (km 0) courses. Everything was so nice and tasty that we are still missing the place, the atmosphere and the great food, from the starters until desserts, espresso and local spirits. You can't miss it
