Reviews on Greek food in Nea Kallikratia, Central Macedonia, Greece. Kallikrateia (Greek: Καλλικράτεια) is a municipal unit in Chalkidiki, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality of Nea Propontida, before which it was a municipality with its seat in the town Nea Kallikrateia. The municipal unit has an area of 108.894 km. According to the census of 2011, it has a population of 11,571 people. Nea Kallikrateia was established after the refugee crisis in 1922, mainly by the residents who came from Kallikrateia in Eastern Thrace and set up in the area, where the metohi of the Xenofontos Monastery of Mount Athos existed and it was called “Stomion”. Many testimonies report that it was inhabited by the prehistoric years; however, they are not confirmed.

the place doesn't look so charming and neither the name at the sign "grill restaurant". but actually the food was delicious, i recommend to get something from the grill. we had warm snack plate for two (good) and grilled calamari , which was superrrrrrtasty. best of all was service, lovely older ladies with really good english. we tested about 6 places at kallikrateia and this was maybe best of them.

Stopped by as Iâm staying in an Airbnb nearby and so glad I did. They have a wood burning pizza oven and, even though I was planning on a seafood dinner, Iâm sitting here with a fabulous prosciutto and rocket pizza instead. Lemon tart to follow. It seems to be newly opened, and definitely worth finding! Highly recommend.

This fish tavern is on the beach of Agia Triada. We had a table on the beach and had sardenes shrimps octopus and more. Fantastic tastes properly grilled absolutely enjoyed our dinner at this place. Strongly recommended.

A perfect spot for lunch during your day at the beach. This beautiful restaurant at the beach is not only a nice place for lunch but also a great place to enjoy your dinner. Not cheap but a good quality.

From early in the morning (9 o clock) you can find dishes you eat in the greek homes, like beans, ocra, zuchinni etc (the so called "lathera", because they are cooked in oil, in Greek) with 3 Euros and also food in the pot. These end early. You can also have a large variety of dishes with meat in prices till 6 Euros. All the family is working the whole day there in the summer and they have people sitting all times in the day. An honest suggestion, very friendly stuff, don 't miss it if you are there.

As Kallikrateia can be very crowded during August, most of the restaurants are busy too. However, being busy from being tasty, with large portions and tasteful dishes makes a lot of difference. Staff is helpful and attentive and no matter how busy they can be, everything came on time.

No comments, the place is impeccably clean and the food is amazing. We ate there 4 times in our 5 days stay in the Nea Kalikratia. Please don't be ridiculous and start ordering spaghetti and burgers - get proper Greek food. They are proud of it and for a reason! It is delicious.

We were two times in this restaurant and everything was just perfect. The service is more than friendly and the place is very clean (they change the covers after every clients). The best food is made there and for very reasonable prices - the best tzatziki and grilled octopus!!! The deserts are really good too. They give us a free dog food so we can feed the amazing dog in front of the restaurant - it was really nice if them! Thank you for the delicious food and for worm atmosphere!

This place deserves the No.1 rating!! Fantastic food recommended by Stelios (the owner - who also speaks English und auch Deutsch!!) which included the Rocket salad, Keftedes, grilled Chicken off the bone, squid and Bouyourdi.The free dessert (Visino - Cherry with yoghurt) was a nice touch.
