Fine quality overall. Nothing outstanding. Nicely busy atmosphere. Service helpful. Liked dining in Porto much more.

Fish tavern " Poseidon "
It's not on the seafront so you will have to search for it, but in my opinion its worth the effort. We had a very nice meal,....grilled octopus to start; sea bass and lamb chops for our main courses. Nice food, well cooked, reasonable prices, good service. Recommended.

Back in Kioni having not been here since July 2016. Lizzyâs restaurant building works hadnât even started back then, and it was the location of the all services for the boats. Apparently they opened in 2017 so this is their 3rd summer, and what a great location overlooking the bay right on the end of the quay. It may be a couple of euroâs more expensive than the other tavernas/restaurants (starters â¬6-â¬12, mains â¬12-â¬25, fresh class A fish and lobster â¬65 -â¬80 per kilo respectively) but it is well worth it. The grouper fricassee with carpaccio of truffle at â¬24 was excellent, and my wife had slow cooked chicken with a potato purée foam for â¬14. We shared grilled cheese with tomato jam and anchovies on bruschetta for starters, and washed it all down with little bottles of Prosecco. Service was attentive but not pretentious and the front of house Joanna was very friendly and informative. Iâm sure weâll be back by the end of the week.

10 min away by car from Vathi with a spacious parking and breath taking views . Friendly staff and good service. Totally recommend the Cherepa chicken and the salad with âkoulouraâ . We ordered aubergine rolls with bacon and âfiogkakiaâ not really impressed . The stuffed lamb was average . Very gigantic portions . For three starters and two mains with a bottle of wine and still water , we paid 75 euros . Itâs worth visiting if you donât order the dishes that we didnât like. Later , we found out the âstavlisiaâ steak was exceptional but unfortunately we didnât have time to go back !

Fresh fish by the sea!
This only goes to show that you cannot rely on Number 1 rating when you are looking for a good restaurant. We had previously eaten several times in Taverna Poseidon in Vathy and had lovely meals with a nice atmosphere but for my wifeâs birthday we thought we would try O Bathis because it had such high Trip Advisor reviews. When will I ever learn....The setting is nothing special but it is just one of those tavernas along the front but that is fine in itself. ( Poseidon it has to be said is much nicer set up an attractive pedestrian street with pretty tables and flowers around.)The disappointment was in everything else - food and service and really what else is there. The restaurant was busy and there were too few staff but the food did come reasonably quickly however it is just deliver/dump it and go type of service. No one was rude or anything like that but it was just like being in a fast canteen. The biggest disappointment was the food. Greek salad was huge but basically somehow dull and fairly tasteless. Really not sure how that was achieved but thatâs how it came out. Main courses were also very disappointing. My wife had the sea bream. Albeit farmed which was as they had declared it but it was tepid and not very well cooked and the âsaladâ consisted of a massive pile of greens. The cat enjoyed the fish more than my wife did. My pork fillet was basically a pork chop with chips and another pile of green âsaladâ. It was nothing more than average but the cat looked very hungry so I gave quite a bit of it to the poor little chap. I have no idea about other diners experiences but the food being served on other tables all looked pretty standard fare. So not a good evening at all and basically it left me feeling very frustrated that I had been taken in by a supposed Number 1 rating - again. I guess I will learn eventually to trust more than a Trip advisor rating and follow my judgement before sitting down at a restaurant table.

The restaurant is located on the harbour, the view is just stunning! We ordered different dishes, and every plate was well cooked and presented. I liked very much deep fried cod with mashed potatoes and beetroot sauce: delicious!Service was a little slow but we were in holiday, so we had no hurry!Highly recommended!Thank you for your review. We are always very happy when an experienced traveler like you finds his/ her visit to Ageri so good as to say that it is highly recommended. We are pleased that you found all the dishes to your liking. We hope to see you again.

This is a fantastic busy restaurant well off the tourist trail. The boys don't advertise so, it's full to brimming point each night by word of mouth only. They are recommended in the Greek version of Time Out (Athenorema) and otherwise get occasional ment
We ate here 3 times during our weekâs stay just up the road and found the food inventive and delicious and just the right amount. Inexpensive and relaxing setting. Kudos to the waiter, Hector, who was charming, professional, and helpful/knowledgeable about the smallish menu. Good English and the Negronis are perfectly made and refreshing. Loved each meal. Good local wine choices, too.

Friendly and cosy environment. Traditional homely made dishes. Garden terrace and parking place.500 meters from Polis bay. Contact us for reservations.
After a week sailing around the Ionian this was the best meal weâd had. Fantastic Greek food and well worth the walk up the hill. Best table is in the back garden, next to the hammock surrounded by a beautiful vegetable garden. We went with our 5 adventurous young children and the service was wonderful. Loved it!

The ideal location in the picturesque harbour of Fiscardo, the northern part of Kefalonia, harmoniously pairing with the exquisite aesthetics of both interior & exterior spaces of our restaurant is the starting point and influencing source of our business
We came here for lunch whilst in Fiscardo and it was REALLY good! Traditional Greek cuisine beautifully presented by very friendly staff. Would recommend the eggplant saganaki and octopus carpaccio. House wine was delicious also. Would definitely return!
