Our back and forth excursion in Chalki became even more interesting when we choose to sit to this traditional Kifi restaurant. Mrs Amalia immediately welcome us with her warm smile. The food was more than awesome. All cooked by her in a traditional island way and sooo sooo delicious. All of the plates were delicious!!! They have a big variety in their menu so one can satisfy his/her tastes, from meat to fish!!! After our lunch, Mr Giannis, her husband , and Mrs Amalia sat with us and had a wonderful afternoon..... This isn't just a restaurant, this is home!!!! Thank you for everything!!

Must be getting something right!... We know Halki well, and there's lots of excellent choice, but we kept going back. Twice we shared a mixture of starters... Mese, Greek style and had a fabulous meal. Our particular favourites the fisherman's salad, sardines, and zucchini ball, but the choice is wide.

Stopped for a light lunch and ordered what we thought was a small meal. Was shocked when they came out. My husband had pork with all the trimmings, it was huge. I ordered pasta , it was really good ,in an extra big dish. Couldnât eat it all. The pork was delicious. What surprised me the most was all the lobsters coming out. The meals were not overly expensive so wished I had looked at the menu . Maybe next time.

We stayed at Poppi's family studios our first year on Halki so we always eat here once during our stay but I am sorry to say the meal was not good. The menu is small and we usually fall back on Moussaka and chicken and lemon potatoes which are generally good. However this year they were not the Moussaka being tasteless and the chicken dry and potatoes too firm and dry. I thin this may be our last visit at Maria's.

During our ten day stay on Halki we dined here the most. We tried many other restaurants but kept returning to see George. From amazing seafood pasta, Salmon steaks, lamb stifado to their signature pizzas everything was lovely. The house red wine is smooth & very moorish & George is a fantastic attentive host. With harbour views it has it all.

You donât need TripAdvisor to work out that this is THE taverna to go too. Just look at how popular it is and notice that the same people go back night after night. The only drawback is that you might have to wait a bit longer to get served if itâs extremely busy, but itâs certainly worth waiting!

We had a day trip to Halki whilst visiting Rhodes. We were quick to head for the only beach (mini) with sunbeds and umbrellas. We ate lunch at the taverna here and what a great choice.Basic but good menu, fresh meat, fish and veggie options.My wife had the stuffed tomatoes and peppers (no meat - which was a first to find them without for her).I "chose wisely" (Indiana Jones and the last crusade) and went for the Calamari which was a whole prepared squid, very freshly caught. A couple of beers, salad and Tzatziki. Good price. Well worth a visit.

The views are stunning. Stopped for cold drinks while waiting for the ferry. Seemed to wait a long time . Not over friendly. Even the bill took a while.

We had lunch here on a couple of occasions and enjoyed the food very much. Being primarily a sea-food restuarant, we tried the Calamari one day and it was excellent. Downstairs is the beach bar and they have a separate menu of snacks and light meals. The service is good, the prices reasonable and the views out over the bay are superb.Only open in the day time except for Friday nights.

The place is just amazing & its getting better from year to year. Crystal waters, very clean sea, unique place. For the restaurant.... words cant describe the taste, the quality, the kindness of the staff. Everything is great, everything is unique. Honestly, one of the best place you can eat in your life. Huge congratulations to everyone.
