The café was established in 1996, and is located in the Mandrakia of Ermioni. Situated at the sea with possibility of sailboat mooring offering water, electricity and Wifi Internet Variety of offers on menu, crepes, waffles, ice cream, coffees, breakfast,
If you are ever in Ermine, and you want a quiet drink or a nice meal, go to this cafe. The owners are very friendly and speak English. Ask for Costos or Maria and they are very helpful. This little town is a side trip from Hydra if you get that far in Greece.

Nice and calm place. We prefer gyros and souvlaki and we had that. Taste was nice. I can say very good. Portions are small if you compare with other places, but also cheaper. Take it two gyros - it will enough :-).There is only pork gyros, if you want chicken one, take it souvlaki packed like gyro in bread (Greek - pita). Waiters are business courteous people, no emotions but OK. During hot day, choose places in restaurant, places outside are to hot.

The restaurant looks very appealing and is situated on three levels overlooking the water - perfect at the end of the day. However, the food doesn't match up. The menu looked very similar to many other Greek restaurants and we hoped for tasty fresh fare, maybe with a local twist. Among our dishes were crab salad and aubergine dip as starters. They both tasted as though they'd been bought from a supermarket, not home made. Bland and tasteless and the crab was actually crab sticks, not fresh crab. It was such a shame as the location seemed to idyllic. We didn't stay for further courses but found another restaurant in the town.

This was our only dinner ashore during a weekâs sailing holiday from Poros to the Argolic gulf and we were in the mood for fish, so I checked out all the offerings at all the quayside Tavernas and Ganossis was the clear choice. Our sea-bream (wild, not farmed!) was perfectly grilled and the accompanying vegetables were tasty and well presented. The setting is great: you can even keep an eye on your boat, while the decor and general ambience are a definite cut above the standard Taverna. Another big plus is that the house wine is probably the best weâve had in 40 years of visiting Greece.

Stern moored our yacht right in the middle of this tavernaâs waterfront restaurant. Lowered our passarelle, walked in and ordered two cold beers while we perused the menu for lunch. Service was prompt. I had one of their special salads, my wife a moussaka. Both were excellent. The only thing that detracted and/or entertained us from a perfect lunch was a bad mannered and abysmal sailor. While we were mooring he cut across our line dropped his anchor across ours fouling it. He then had problems with his stern lines and demanded of an English guy on the quay side that he secured his lines and returned them. âSay pleaseâ said the English guy not demand! âItâs good manners.ââMy linesâ demanded the skipper.âYou were not brought up with any manners. I was.ââIt is: Please, Bitte , S'il vous plait, sas parakaloúme.ââSecure my lines and pass them backâ, was his final demand.âNoâ was the answer and he dropped them in the water.I love street theatre !!Oh, unless you guessed it, the rude guy was French.

We created Cookoida restaurant to offer the best food at the best price in a friendly environment!!
Great find... taken to kitchen to see the fish and it was v v v authentic. Fish was amazing, cook there has 30 years experience and it showed. Service very friendly too. Deserves to be more frequented but is on far side of port from the main drag, but better for being quieter.

We sat to have lunch here as the taverna was higher on a hill and as it was hot, the gentle wind would have been perfect.Beer came really cold and the bread (olive bread) came lightly toasted. We ordered imam (vegetarian food with eggplants) but it was very small and nothing compared to Imam in other tavernas. Add to this sourzoukakia, obviously tailored for tourists who donât know better, that was just elongated meat balls (three instead of the regular four) and had none of what makes excellent soutzoukakia: cumin. The tomato sauce was just added over them when in fact they should have been cooked in a tomato sauce. The service was good and quick. The cost for two beers, water, bread, imam and soutzoukakia was â¬21 or about $24.

We had an amazing dinner at Spirandreas. The service, food and atmosphere were perfect. The risotto, octopus and fish were big hits for our group and some of the best we had in a week traveling around the Saronic Islands. The waiters were very attentive and helpful throughout our meal. This was one of our more expensive meals on the trip but still well below most of Europe and well worth it!

Maria is one very authentic Ermioni lady who has been offering her nice fares for many, many years now.Her food is genuine, her coffee excellent and service, mainly by efficient Rosie, excellent.Roasted beef in tomato sauce, mousaka, vlita (like khorta) superb and fresh, and calamari excellent. Ask her for the dayâs specials. Follow these big portions with excellent desserts, and those pounds are gained happily.Recommended.

The waitress speaks German as she had lived there. The dishes were explained in detail and also whether the seafood is fresh or frozen. We had Anchovies marinated on bread, Sardine filets grilled in butterfly style (not seen at other restaurants) and one calamar for 2 persons. Nice and plain preparation of the food. Everything tasted very well. The white house wine (Chardonnay type) also tasted very well (dry). Whole bottle for EUR 7,00 only. At the end we became a fuit platter from the house. We were surprised about the total price of the meal - for this quality!Definitely we will come back.
