Situated in the heart of Durban North, Nikos marries contemporary dining with traditional homestyle Greek cooking, coal grilled to perfection!
Best parking is off a inconspicuous narrow drive way just before the hotel entrance. Menu is well priced. Food is served in metal cutlery - old school. Service is deliberate and hospitable. Food is fair. Worth a visit for the experience.Dear Copenhagenvisito2017,Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience. It is through valuable feedback like yours that we are able to, where necessary, improve upon the service that we provide to our valued customers. We would be grateful if you could send through a copy of your review, along with your contact details, to our customer care department at [email protected] so that we can ensure that any necessary changes are made.Sincerely,NIKOS

Family-run Greek Restaurant. Has been operating for a number of years.Telephone number: +27 31 312 7032
Visited for a Saturday lunch and observed that most diners seemed to be ordering the same thing - great big heaps of prawns and chips which looked (and smelled) great as they passed by. We didn't need much convincing to follow suit and ordered the 1kg platter to share which did not disappoint. Great home cut chunky chips, prawns and plenty of garlic and peri peri sauce for dunking the chips and prawns into. Returned 2 weeks later (this time on a Sunday) without making a reservation only to find that they were fully booked. As we were about to drive off a waiter came running after us to say that they would make a plan for us on the pavement if we didn't mind sitting outside.Didnt mind? In fact id prefer to sit outside and watch the world go by so back we went!! Round 2 of prawns it was and just as good as a few weeks before. The place is pretty small (seats maybe 20 or 30) so its probably best to make a reservation just to be on the safe side. The wine list is small but byo welcome (corkage R50 if memory serves).Service is good and owners are hands on and friendly.I wish i could comment on other menu items but for now its prawns, prawns and prawns.
