Things to do in Zeltingen-Rachtig
Very limited menu, should have turned us away just then but we kept on. Very few other patrons on a late summer's eve and in the heart of dining hour should have turned us away but...we kept on. Solid language skills for multiple in the 6 person party...what can go wrong?Everything apart from the drinks. Well, that isn't fully true, the wine was very warm.Wait staff claimed they had other sides available than what was listed, multiple people asked, different times, got the same or equal answer. No deal - failed expectation.Steak not cooked to order; schnitzel was over cooked (one piece), undercooked (another piece), salad was overly dry and vegetable portions for what was on hand (see above) was skimpy. The view isn't worth it either. Service was rude. No Tip. Should have just left.

The restaurant staff is great, very Friendly! The food is very tasty. Apart from the typical German pork, snitzel, etc, you can eat some nice pasta's as well. Both the interieur of the restaurant and the terrace are pleasant! It is better to make a reservation, because it can become quite busy some times!

Went here due to the high rating. However,... It smells like a bar inside. It looks not very nice inside either. There were small flies, big flies and mosquitoes flying around and you heard several customers trying to catch them. Food was OK but small sizes. The Asian waitress was very friendly and helpful. Never again though....

Unser Mittagsstop bei jeder Motorradtour an die Mosel. Leckere Speisen und toller Salat vom Buffet. Ausreichend Parkplatz, toller Service. Sehr schöner Biergarten.
Most interestingly, the price we paid for a very substantial dinner here was a little less than we had paid earlier in the day for a modest lunch in Bernkastel, which probably says more about Bernkastel's status as a tourist trap than it does about this restaurant.Anyway, we had a beautifully presented dinner here with drinks, served with a smile. Also the portions were very generous. To make the best of it, make sure you've got room for it!The only small minus was that my stuffed chicken was a little over-salted, but it was still very enjoyable. They have a good selection of local wines as well, which we took advantage of.If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

Feast, celebrate, enjoy! Good food goes hand-in-hand with a good hotel. Visit one of our individual restaurants and allow yourself to be spoiled by our kitchen team: With an à la carte menu, a piece of homemade cake or a knights' feast or... We cater for
I had an evening dinner at this restaurant and was more than satisfied. The restaurant was almost full and they found me a table, even if I was alone, with a nice smile. The waiters we charming, friendly and efficient. The menu is really varied, with wild, fish and usual german dishes. Prices are good value. My wild plate was perfect and the wines very good. I'll go back for sure and heartly recommend it in Zeltingen. The view on the Mosel could not be betterDear PouchkineTheuxThank you very much for your evaluation - this motivate us and the Deutschherrenhof-Team even more! We are happy that you enjoyed service, food and athmosphere and we are looking forward to welcome you again. All the best!! Yours Alexandra Schmitz-Zirbes, Martin Haier & Team

Nested in the heart of this stunning medieval village, Graacher Tor is offering a taste and an atmosphere typical matching the surrounding with a menu focusing on local dishes, with portions so generous that I recommend to share, and with a primary attention to ingredients, those are of pristine quality.Great service we had from smiling Julia that took perfectly care of us, she is young and talented.Wide wine selection as you can expect in one of the capitals of Mosel wine , pratically all wines are at Km 0 or just a little more.Make sure to take a walk before and after the meal in this village that is idyllic, and above and around you best Mosel vineyards.

The chef knows his profession and comes up with great new menus all the time. Great place to try some combination you never tried before. The service is really good as well. Not the restaurant to take your kids (no kids menu, play area etc.). Better leave them with the babysitter and take your spouse for a nice gourmet dinner and some great local wine.

Visited as a party of nine early Sunday pm. We hadnât booked which in hindsight was a mistake. The seating of new arrivals is not well organised or controlled so people just wander in and sit down when others are waiting. We finally got a table and things got better. Food was hearty and good. Good selection of beers and the waitress who had been a little off-hand to start with got a lot better.A good visit and would return.

Our restaurant is well known for it's regional menues and big choice of excellent wines. We love to use products and recipies from our area. In our vinotheque you can find more than 700 excellent wines from Moselle, Germany and more. We have been nominate
Zeltinger Hof is the hotel, the belonging restaurant is better known as "Haus des Riesling" (house of wines). The restaurant offers a charming atmosphere, two nice terraces opposite of the house. Little bit of italian flair outside, but in fact you are sitting in a small town at the Moselle. The range of wine (all from the Moselle, Saar, Ruwer) is incredible big. Therefor we decided to choose the menu (4 courses) with a variety of eight wines. Wow - the best choice we could do. A sommelier chosen wines which are combined perfectly to the meals, sometimes challenging (according to the guess of the sommelier), but always in some ways fitting. The meals are of excellent very good quality. Small helpings, but that is what we wanted. So don't judge this as expensive: it is perfect in the combination. The service is friendly and aware of the guests. And don't be shy: they even serve a very good local beer. An absolute recommendation.
