We came on our first night and stuck with this restaurant during our whole trip. Nice atmosphere, quick and polite service, good option for acceptable prices- what more would you want? Food is simple but there's a free salad bar which is definitely a good healthy option. Looking forward to our reservation tomorrow for Sylvester evening!

Great place to eat. We found a table with q nice view down to the valley. It is self service. The food is really good. Portions are big we got a children's spagetti portion and it was huge. We also had a tiroler soup and sausage and chips. All really good and filling. friendly staff.
Good to take a quick break, just your average restaurant, only with a nice outdoor area especially the balcony. Also a nice round bar area in front of the station for a nice drink, only the toilets were more disgusting. Not only dirty maybe cleaned once a day? Also not maintained.

Had the loveliest meal here! Wine was lovely and inexpensive. Broad menu with lots of local dishes Inc noodles ( a bit like gnocchi but eggs) very very filling!Delicious sauce and really well cooked meat. Husband had the local bacon dumpling soup which was amazing. Great service. Very attentive waitress and speedy service.

Unique ski hut in the middle of the Zillertal mountains. Various Schnitzel specialties and regional delicacies for you to taste. We hope to welcome you. LG family Heim and the entire Schnitzelhüttenteam
This is a real schnitzelrestaurant... It just serves a lot of good schnitzels with fries. Although you could get some extra's. The XXL schnitzel is enormous! A normal schnitzel is already pretty big. Also a nice to have a hot drink when weather is bad.

We decided to call in after noticing a Queue the day before. It was well worth the visit, the Tyrol Grostl was amazing. We had Ribs and a very large ham roll We then had lunch here the following 4 days. It gets a bit crowded but so efficient you don't wait that long

What an amazing view! Half way on run number 18 we found this gem. We decided to order Wiener schnitzel (what else?) . When they arrived we couldn't believe our eyes! You better be hungry when you visit this place as I can assure you you've never seen a schnitzel that size! Even better if you wash it down with a local beer and you are ready to carry on down number 18 to the next chairlift! Highly recommended!

The fine restaurant HeLeni in Zell am Ziller, Austria is daily open from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and offers a fine selection of regional cuisine and treats for the taste buds.
You of us arrived for an early evening drink at the hotel, tending to stay for dinner. We were virtually ignored and finally given a table in a dark corner of the garden even though we asked to sit at a much nicer one (which was available) beside the pool. Disdainful and unfriendly staff were really off-putting. We sat waiting to be served for such a long time that we got up and left.

Lifestyle ski hut on the mountain
The only issue of this restaurant is that there is a lack of restaurants in Kaltenbach skiing resort, so this one is just flooded by skiers looking for some place to eat. Unless you come 11:30 latest, you would be stopped by the staff just next to the toilets and waiting in a long line to get in, after they let you in you find out that there are no free tables anyway and you would be running around the restaurants with many other people, trying to get a place to eat. And once you get the place, there will be less lucky people passing by your table all the time, looking for their moment of fortune and finding the place to eat.Otherwise service guys are really trying to cope with overloaded restaurant, despite blocked corridors always in a good mood. Food is really good and you pay just a little bit extra for that compared to standard restaurant on the ski slopes. To summarize - this establishment gets 3 stars only because it does not have a working system how to regulate number of people inside. Place itself, service and food is very nice.

Having booked ahead of time (recommend) based solely on TA reviews, I felt reasonably confident that this would be good. First off the building and setting has a genuine traditional appearance, and a stunning vista. Good start.Staff were very friendly, and welcoming offering up genuine good natured banter (it's a word get over it).The food was very good, in terms of taste it was spot on. Everything was tasting like a better version of the food you are used to in your life of consuming mass produced produce. Not only this but all the dishes were prepared very well. I would happily give this place 5/6 based on food alone. With all the other bits it's easily 6/6.Worth the little trip up the winding mountain road.Dear TravelHero85!Thank you very much. All the bestFamily Geisler
