Huge bar/dancing/restaurant right on the skislopes of Flachau, Austria. Flachau, near Salzburg is part of Snow Space Salzburg. It appears that all those that ski and all those that do not gather in the Dampfkessel to party at the end of the day until 10 pm. I have never seen such a big crowd before, with people old and young dancing on tables and even on the bar! (Some nights there were gogo girls doing pole dancing). Many people were inebriated but in the best spirits. In the restaurant section they offer good food (schnitzel, burgers).

The inn is about 45 min from the valley, so an easy hike. The young couple running the inn is very dedicated and offers good food. From there you can move on to the Karseegalm.
Great place to stop for lunch - and the doughnuts are the size of plates! The first savoury doughnuts I have ever seen!
We've been coming to Wagrain and this restaurant for more than 30 years, so a rewiew on TA is long overdue. The fact that we keep returning to Frau Erika and her husband Heinrich speaks for itself! Their hospitality is without borders and their traditional cuisine superb. Our family's favorites: Schnitzel, Tiroler Gröstl and Kaiserschmarren as you find no equal. Either in winter or summer, definately worth a visit!
Although I've titled this fantastic hot chocolate with rum (which was fantastic ) it doesn't do the food justice which was absolutely amazing. ....I won't try and give the Austrian dishes names but everything that I and my friends had was brilliant
A restaurant with tradition in the center of Wagrain. Our kitchen team - led by the owner himself - cooks up regional specialties along with favorites from the worlds of Austrian and international cuisine.
The interior of this restaurant looks like nothing had changed for the last 30 years. Not very cosy. The meat was excellent, very good rare steak. The other meals were okay. The staff was very nice and polite. I would not really go here again unless I was graving a big and good steak.Dear Mrs. Barbara!Thank you very much for your review. Good to hear that you have enjoyed our food and our service in our restaurant, which is the main point when you go out to have dinner ;-). Regarding the interior you have to consider that we are a traditional house - built in 1620 and family - run in the 4th generation now. When we refurbished our restaurant in 2012 we tried to combine this tradition with contemporary amenities. We are sorry, that it seems that we did not meet your taste, but as we all know tastes are different :-)If you are graving for a big and good steak or any other good meal - just visit us, we would appreciate it.Kind regardsfamily Floh
Next to the runs, quite a lot of tables outside and inside. Good simple food. Eat after 13.30 if you want to avoid the queues.

This restaurant is located directly on the skiing slope on Grafenberg. We visited it for lunch during our skiing vacation. The food offered is comparable with other restaurants in the location and includes various local dishes, chicken being a specialty of the house. The downside is that the restaurant is smoking, probably there is a non-smoking section, but closed during our visit (it was possible to sit outside).

This alm is at the top og the Flachau. You can reach this by Startet 3 lift or by the cablecar from Wagrain. It has nice sitting area outside and inside and build in alm style with woods. It is normally crowded and sometimes you have to wait to get a table. The food here is good and the prices are resonable. Try the traditional austrian desserts, they are realy great. The service here is quick and good. We ate lunch here 3 times during our week stay in Flachau. Nice alm.

I've got recommended from my father to visit Auhofalm during my vacation in Austria. And just as he told me, the place was super nice! Very nice environment, delicious food, service minded stuff, good price, and they accept credit card (not all restaurants in that area do that).
