I have been here very often, and I do remember when Wilters only had a small counter where you bought "fish on the fist". Later they added a few chairs in the garden, opened a small room against the cold in winter. Now they have a little, well restaurant. You still order your stuff at the counter, but you can then sit down comfortably, inside and in the garden.The choice of fish is quite large and of great quality.

It's unbelievable.. pretty much remote there's that little bistro just right at floodgate. Boats and little yachts are lining up and they serve amazing breakfast, lunch and cakes! The staff is really nice and the prices are really reasonable! They have an amazing playground for kids up to 14 years. Go there! You won't regret it! I promise.

Gestern haben meine Frau, ein befreundetes Paar und ich spontan entschlossen, dieses Lokal nach Empfehlung selber auszuprobieren. Nachdem uns nach einer eher kühlen BegrüÃung ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde ging es dann schnell mit der Aufnahme der Bestellung. Das überall so hoch gelobte freundliche Personal konnten wir in dem Zusammenhang leider nicht ausfindig machen - die kühle, vielleicht auch teilweise unfreundliche Art der Bedienung hätte man eher in einer Pommesbude als in einem Lokal erwartet. Die Qualität der Speisen kann man auch nur als durchschnittlich bezeichnen, hier habe ich schon Besseres gegessen in gleicher Preisklasse. Als die Teller abgeräumt waren waren wir für das Personal "abgehakt", denn keine Nachfrage, ob es noch etwas zum Dessert sein darf oder gar, ob die mittlerweile leeren Gläser aufgefüllt werden dürfen. Erst eine Frage unsererseits, ob wir noch etwas bestellen können, brachte die Bedienung dazu, den Talk mit Gästen (anscheinend wird bei der Bewirtung der Gäste mit zweierlei Maà gemessen: eins für die Stammgäste und ein weiteres für die Anderen) zu unterbrechen und unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Alles in allem kann man das Lokal eher nicht empfehlen - das gibt es im Umkreis bessere Alternativen.

Es war das Abschlussessen unserer Rad-Rundreise und ein echtes Highlight.Hier stimmt das Ambiente mit Tischen, die noch Abstand zueinander, einem sehr freundlichen und absolut aufmerksamen Service und einfach richtig gutem Essen.Wir hatten das 5-Gang Menü und eine schöne Flasche Rose dazu.Mir persönlich waren lediglich die beiden SoÃen zum Fleisch ein wenig zu kräftig.Aber das ist letztlich Geschmacksache.Zum glückseligen Abschluss dann noch einmal ein paar selbstgemachte Pralinen vom Haus.Ein wirklich schöner Abend.

This fish restaurant is pleasantly situated overlooking a marina, rather grandly titled Varelhaven.The fish is well cooked, although the varieties are fairly limited (sole, eel, shrimps and smoked salmon), and served with a variety of side orders. For non-fish eaters there are the fairly standard German meat dishes, including pork schnitzel in breadcrumbs, beef steaks etc..,We missed a trick in not going for the fish buffet which had pretty much everything on the menu available buffet style (and eel done donner kebab style on a spit which looked intriguing) but even so our food was good, and at a little over â¬70 for four adults and two kids was not badly priced.There is a kids play area with a pirate ship outside, although the fence does not close it off from either the marina or the road so you have to supervise them closely, but all in all a pretty good spot.

Wir sind total begeistert vom edo. Eines der besten Restaurant"s in der Gegend. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gemacht, von der stilvollen Einrichtung bis hin zum köstlichen Essen. Und auch die Kuchen und Desert' s sind sehr lecker. Auch die Terrasse und der Garten sind sehr schön angelegt und läd zum Verweilen ein. Es gibt auch 3 schöne stilvolle Gästezimmer im Haus, die ich sehr empfehlen kann. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Preise sind auch ok. in jeder Hinsicht. Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Would you like quality, friendly service combined with delicious food and great views?Then this is the place for you....! This restaurant is very rustic with plenty of in- and outdoor places to sit. Staff just lovely and attentive, food plenty and cooked freshly, superb choice of main courses and great deserts.Excellent views over the see and with plenty to talk about, large numbers of real drawings and paintings on walls all over the restaurant.
