Das Gasthaus Tiroler Stuben hat mit dem Namen nichts mehr zu tun. Tiroler Spezialitäten gibt es dort schon lange nicht mehr, dafür aber italienische Küche von sehr guter Qualität. Gelegentlich leidet die Qualität der Speisen etwas, wenn in diesem sehr beliebten Lokal im Kirchhainer Ortsteil Schönbach Hochbetireb ist. Die Gaststätte ist barrierefrei, auch der ansprechende Biergarten, für den es allerdings nur eine reduzierte Speisekarte gibt, leider. Die Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind begrenzt, in der näheren Umgebung gibt es aber reichlich Parkmöglichkeiten.Zu bemängeln ist die Abwesenheit einer barrierefreien Toilette. Es gibt auch keine in zumutbarer Nähe.

Went for a 10km hike with friends and afterwards spend time outside on the patio. The apple wine was great and the food was wonderful with good portions prepared fresh. The chicken was great with potatoes salad and dipping sauce. The prices were very reasonable and worth checking out.

Stayed at the Hotel/Restaurant Dombacker in Amoeneburg after being unable to find accomodation in Marburg. Drove up to this beautiful hill top village and booked in to the Dombacker for one night. Excellent large bedroom with very squeaky four poster bed with breakfast for 120 Euros. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, opting to eat at the excellent chinese restaurant across the square (we were being careful with funds at the start of our holiday), the layout, decor and menu were excellent, just a little too pricey for us on that occasion. Breakfast next morning was one of the best we have had on our travels in Germany served by very friendly and helpful staff. Overall an excellent stay.

Abbiamo dormito qui solo una notte, purtroppo, per spezzare il viaggio fino a Marburg. L'hotel è tipico, pulitissimo e la famiglia che ne è proprietaria di una gentilezza unica. La stanza, una suite, per quattro persone era enorme, la colazione non così varia ma buona. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Ok restaurant right next to the parkhotel. It looks very old-fashioned inside. The waiter was friendly enough. I got the shrimp salad for starters. It was good but nothing special. Then the pork was really nice and vegetables well cooked. It's an ok restaurant overall

war schon lange nicht mehr im Bärenhof. Erstaunt war ich, dass plötzlich die Karte mit jugoslawischen/ balkan Gerichten gefüllt war. Ich muss aber sagen, das Essen war sehr gut. Die Portionen mehr als gut. Einfach besser wie früher. Das Fleisch war lecker und saftig, und es schmeckte auch hervorragend. Einzig die Pommes waren ein wenig lapprig. Komme gerne wieder.

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist einfach fantastisch, sowohl die Qualität als auch die Quantität. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Die Wartezeit angemessen. Die Preise sind auch OK. Schade dass es keine Terrasse gibt, würde sich bei diesen Temperaturen anbieten.
