I booked in February 2018 for one night staying here on 15th February 2019. I have booked and paid for my flights so cannot change my holiday today I had a cancellation message via booking.com saying that the hotel had cancelled my booking no reason no apology just cancelled. I will now have to pay double the cost to stay somewhere else as I am booking much later than I would normally and due to it being peak season many hotels are now full. Very very poor service so disappointed.
Just above the MittelStation on the gondola ride from Scheffau to Brandstadl Completely redone since the last time I was here a couple of years ago. Death by pine still but they have stripped out the partitioning to leave a big open space, a warm friendly barn like place. Espresso so-so, but an extra point for the cute home made biccie in my saucer, and the friendly staff

This is a great restaurant serving traditional austrian food and the usual snacks. We have visited over 4 years through the skiing season and its always been consistantly good food. The tortellini is exceptionally nice along with the spaghetti bolognaise and the goulash soup. Prices very reasonable too! We travel as a couple and sometimes at lunchtimes it can be difficult finding somewhere to sit as most of the tables are for big groups - we often eat late though when its quietened down (say after 2pm) which is a little more relaxing.

Visited here with friends on a walk from Schaffau to Söll. A little off the beaten track it makes for a relaxed but welcoming location. The food was extremely nice with hearty portions. Can recommend the käsebrot! The service was efficient and friendly. Recommended.

A return return visit here and we certainly weren't disappointed. We made a quick stop for a beer and snack and left full. We ordered a beer, coffee and meat and cheese sharing plate and we're impressed by the huge plate we got! Excellent value for money. Despite being a busy Sunday and the place being packed the service was quick and with a smile! Would definitely return again!

Located right beside 4 of the blue/easy red runs this is a fantastic place to stop after a morning's skiing and load up on the famous half roast chicken and a gluwein. We had two experiences last week. On Monday when we vistied we had the lesser friendly waitress who was not impressed when our group kept increasing and had to revisit the table a few times, but we were luckier with our second visit on Friday and had the extremely friendly waiter who looked after us. On both occassions the roast chicken was ordered and didn't disapoint!

Unser Traditioneller Gasthof in der FuÃgängerzone von Söll. Perfekte Qualität unserer Gerichte sind garantiert!
Have visited here during the ski season so this was the first time in the summer. Still a great place to be with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Barmaid in the "public bar" is a bit scary but hugely efficient! Only came for a beer so can't comment on the food but the Post is always worth a visit.Dear Dopeycoo, thank you for your recent comment. thank you for pointing out our main waitress is very efficient even though you had a scary Impression, I am sure you can imagine the public bar sometimes needs dicipline and therefore we love our Margit. We hope to welcome you back some day soonThe Bliem Family and team

This is a great mountain ski restaurant above Scheffau with a very wide choice of dishes, good pricing, excellent service and a choice of well appointed seating areas. We have tried a few different cafe and restaurants across the Ski Welt Region and we think this is one of the best. This is our second year in succession skiing this part of the SkiWelt mountain arena. The restaurant sits just below the main Gondala up from Scheffau (Brandstadl II) on a gentle blue category piste (64). Pull over to the left of the piste, you can't miss it about half way down. You can sit inside in a well appointed, pretty area with large, bright windows overlooking the mountains, at the bar, outside or in a sheltered area with a glass perimeter and huge parasol. This is not a self-service restaurant. But the service is fast and, for 2017, their customer service is much better than last year. They must have been on a training course as they have a good system, working as a team, and they are very friendly. They all speak English if you struggle a little with your German language. The menu ranges from a breakfast, light snacks, cakes, desserts and full meals. It isn't expensive and, considering the overall quality, is value for money.Toilets are, as you would expect, clean and modern although they are downstairs so it's a trek with your ski boots but it's the same everywhere. I have noticed that the soap in the toilets seems to run out a lot when I visit so message to the team: do the loo inspection a bit more frequently and top up the soap!We have visited a number of cafe and mountain restaurants across the SkiWelt and also the Ski Jewel areas. We think that this ranks as one of the best. You can easily incorporate it into a terrific day of skiing on the mountain for the family. It is one of our favourite places to eat and relax while skiing. As an aside, the skiing around this restaurant is also great for beginners (not complete beginners but those who have made some progress beyond basic snowplough) and intermediates. There is a huge choice of pistes, a good lift system and they can create a proper ski experience with their extensive artificial snow cannon even when it hasn't snowed for as long as anyone can remember! Just as long as the temperature is not too high. The piste right outside the restaurant is one of the most forgiving for skiers wanting to build their confidence. And for those who are more adventurous there is the opportunity to leave the restaurant, pop your skis back on and then ski all the way down to the car park and bottom station - a wonderful experience across a varied and really long piste.Highly recommended.Arianne

This restaurant appeared promising on first impression, however when we arrived we were greeted with indifference. The service was minimal. The menu choice was not inspiring and when the food arrived it was bland and uninteresting. Our worst meal of the week.

A lovely child friendly hotel/ restaurant which has good outdoor play facilities with outdoor seating to eat/drink .In my opinion not enough (safe) space for the superb bikes that they provide for the children to play on ,some meals can prove to be pricey but well worth a visit as they serve excellent food.
