We ordered different types of meats, but the quality was not there for us, considering the high price. Also it said tapas and âSpanishâ on Tripadvisor, they do not offer this on the menu. It also took a long time before our order arrived, but the restaurant did not seem very full. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The view was lovely though, this is the only reason I would go to the restaurant. Maybe a nice place to have a drink.Of course we also have a tapas card. It is handed out separately to the steak card to the guest. You will also find the dishes on our homepagesteakhaus-fuessen.de

Altstadt Hotel zum Hechten
This place is full to the brim of atmosphere, bustling waitresses and happy diners. The meals are local dishes so lots of meat and potatoes. The waitresses are efficient and friendly and the plates are full of food so best to go there with an appetite. They also offer a salad bar, which is one price and you can help yourself as much as you like. A nice touch when you are missing your quota of vegetables.Greet also for local beers.

We are a small family business with roots in Vienna and Germany. We design our menu with love, care and individual according to seasonal offers. We work exclusively with small manufactory companies from the region. Small and fine is our philosophy. We lov
My wife and I stayed 3 nights in Fuessen and we really enjoyed the excelent dinner we had at Kuess die Hand. Our highlights:1) Excelent and well prepared dishes. I had a great raviolli (picture) and my wife tried the meat, also very good;2) Very friendly and attentive owners/staff. One of them was born in Italy, maybe thatâs why the pasta was so good!3) Great location and atmosphere, with small candles in each table, good and soft music playing inside...4) The desserts are really fantastic, my wife tried the strudel (excelent, warm and cryspy with a vanila topping) but the highlight was a dessert that I forgot the name, with an appricot filling that was recommended by the owner (picture). We were very satisfied with Kuess die Hand and other great restaurants in Fuessen (Chapeu and Zum Hechten)!

The combination of local Allgau specialities and seasonal, modern cuisine served in an unique environment make your visit in our house an unforgettable experience. We offer just the right locale for business dinners, meeting, company parties or a quick lu
I tell you... they would have got 4 on 5.... the quality of the dinner was on 4...Unfortunately the table they gave us had got the tablecloth dirty...and it was visible...So... the waiter was great and my Wiener schnitzel was delicious and crispy...My wife enjoyed the asparagus and roast-beef.

It being Bavaria, I didn't have very high expectations for non-meat options. I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the local specialty - cabbage leaves stuffed with bread/mushroom/herb mix. The dish was absolutely amazing - large, very hot, served in a light sauce with sauteed vegetables. I wasn't that hungry but I polished it off! There were 3-4 other vegetarian options that looked amazing, and the woman next to me ate one of them - dumplings with local cheese and spinach. I could have easily returned 3-4 times to try all the others. There are many meat options too, of course. My husband's dish was served in a ceramic baking platter - I love when dishes are 'oven to table.' it was very delicious as well by his account. While the server didn't speak English, we did ok. Prices were reasonable and the atmosphere - vaulted ceilings, etc. was pleasant. We had a very nice time and from memory the meal was under EUR 40 - an unbelievable deal for the quality of food and the overall experience.

Wir haben bis einschlieÃlich 12.06.18 Betriebsurlaub. Ab 13.06.18 sind wir ab 17.00 Uhr wieder für Sie da.
Fussen is a very attractive town but much of the food we encountered was perfectly acceptable 'tourist bland'. Madame Pluesch was different. A beautiful cosy venue and local cuisine - my mixed sausage plate was something to remember. The charming Bulgarian waitress worked so hard. You do need to book and we had to wait for the following day to get in but worth it.

The Schlossbrauhaus is situated close to the castle Neuschwanstein in Schwangau. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a mix between classic bavarian and modern design. The kitchen is typical regional and suits very good to the home made beers. An ideal pla
So much fun and fantastic food! Stayed there for hours eating and drinking, sat outside with a great view of the mountains and the castle. There was an awesome local band playing who bought us shots. Staff spoke English with great recommendations and there was a part of the menu in English. Food was amazing and the beers were even better. Needless to say we were sad to leave.

Romantic Restaurant with a fantastic view to the fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein and the Bavarian Alps. In the differently designed areas of the restaurant, guests can enjoy delightful creations of the young kitchen team, which is characterized by seasona
This was an exquisite, lovely dining experience! We were staying at the hotel and this was a convenient choice for dinner on our first night there. However, this turned out to be a wonderful gem and we enjoyed dining there very much. The décor was warm and inviting, as was the service. The staff was incredibly well trained. Our service person was delightful â a perfect balance between humorous engagement and light conversation with the ability to step back so we were able to enjoy our meal. He was also incredibly familiar with the wine list & menu and was able to provide intelligent and well-considered recommendations for us. Something I always appreciate in restaurants. The food was very delicious. Created with what feels like the freshest of regional produce, and presented as if it was art on a plate. If youâre here during the day, youâll also get to savour views of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles while enjoying a great breakfast or lunch. They are busy here, especially on weekends. So if you wish to dine here for dinner on weekends, I would suggest making a booking. Schwangau is such a lovely area, still close to trendy and bustling Fussen but presents with a lot more tranquillity and quiet charm. If youâre not staying in Schwangau but still in the vicinity, I would suggest a short drive for a meal at Rubezahl - itâs fine dining at its best and we really enjoyed it.

Certainly easy to spot in the dark; just off the main road through Schwangau and lit up like a beacon. Once there, note large car park across the road from the hotel. As it was night when we visited, we didn't really appreciate how attractive the building was. Traditional chalet style with a lot of structural wood, and with a good alpine view.We were not entirely sure how to present ourselves on arrival, so we reported to the hotel reception who then pointed us to the separate restaurant nearby. Plenty of large tables available in what seemed to be a sizeable semi-circular wood and glass conservatory, so we bagged a table for eight to ourselves. Having realised that we were Brits, a charming girl who spoke perfect english was deputed to look after us. As the menus were available in english too, it wasn't a difficult evening. Foodwise, ample alternatives of the robust teutonic variety which was fine by us.I went with the nicely-done pork medallions in a creamy mushroom sauce with schwabing dumplings whilst Mrs EPR exercised the unusual choice of grilled chicken breast in a sweet and sour sauce with spring rolls and wok-fried veg. Plus a bountiful bowl of fries between us. Not a lot left of that lot, I can assure you. Dessert choice equally good; who could refuse an "ice cream cake" - actually more like an ice cream cheesecake. I couldn't, and Mrs EPR's hot chocolate sponge pudding was equally good too.All dishes attractively presented, and efficiently served by the experienced waitresses who, I have to say, looked very fetching in their local costume. So a very successful evening in comfortable surroundings. Would certainly return.
