I never understood why my partner liked this place so much - but now I get it. There is always a good selection of inviting meals served at the counter, always well cooked and with generous portions. Despite the lack of music or atmosphere in the upstairs dining room, the service is always fast and friendly so it's much better for a quick midday meal rather than a romantic evening venue - excellent value for money too.

The Sudhaus might well have the most dramatic and impressive setting of any brewpub in Germany. While they have indoor seating too (and a beer museum), the highlight is definitely their rooftop beer garden. The view over the town of Schwaebisch Hall, and the valley that surrounds it, is magnificent. The food is pitched as being a bit more upmarket than your typical brewery, and it is more expensive than similar places, but the prices certainly aren't as sky-high as the views. The beer was perfectly nice without being anything special in my opinion, but it certainly tasted good sitting out on the roof. You should certainly book a table if you want to sit on the roof, especially if you want a table on the side overlooking the town.

The food was fantastic. The local dishes of pork and of beef were great. There were some local wines that they suggested that went well with dinner and were far better than the bad reviews of german red wine that i had seen. Try it.

Das Stadt-gut Hotel und Restaurant in Schwäbisch Hall, übernachten und lecker essen Master kitchen: here the chef cooks! Swabian- hittish- Franconian, regional, seasonal to classic-international ... refined and varied! Preferred use of regional and biolog
Ate here in June with a larger group. Schwabisch Hall is an absolutely charming city and the Goldener Adler adds to the charm. The hotel/restaurant is located right on the market square adjacent to the open air theatre/church. They provide outdoor seating as well as elegant casual indoor dining. The service is exceptional and the food is amazingly great! We enjoyed the pork with mushroom sauce and although it was a large portion, I was able to eat most of it. It paired well with the Mohrenkopfle beer only available in this region brewed by Haller Lowenbrau! I cannot speak for the hotel accommodations as I did not stay here; however, the bathrooms are large and very clean.

After being in Schwäbisch Hall for several months the visit at OHSO was the first culinary wow-experience. Finally a restaurant that respects local products and interprets those products in a new way. The décor of the restaurant, the service are in line with this idea - to-the-point, efficient and friendly. I felt properly taken care of â however the huge surprise is Simonâs innovative, simple and tasty kitchen. There are just 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts on the menu. However the choice remains difficult as there are so many interesting options. Even simple dishes like the mixed salad turn out to be full of surprises â I sticked to the vegetarian options (salads of beans âSchwarzaugenbohnenâ and roll from potatoes âKartoffelrouladeâ) and have been rewarded with a bouquet of great flavors. What I found so surprising is game of flavors and textures â there is a young master in the kitchen. I hope that Simon and his team will continue to have success and delight guests in this pretty town and that I have the chance for more visits in the future.Dear Michael H,it is very pleasant to read all your kind words and the detailed description of your experience at our restaurant. Thank you for your great feedback, we are looking forward to see again at Ohso!Best regards,S. Würtz

When in Schwabisch Hall, do yourself a favor and take a short walk over the bridge and stop in at this brewery restaurant. Food was great, service good, and beer was wonderful. You can sip your beer and drink in the atmosphere of this great old beer hall in this picturesque town!

The food tastes quite good, the service is quick and friendly. I was there several times, cause the quality-price ratio, cozy place and tasty meal. What I didn't appreciate much was the small and a bit dirty restroom. Anyway, some more cleaning would be better. The restaurant is small, but confortable and has nice wooden architectural details. As a conclusion, a good choice for a dinner! I'll go there again, to try some more Swäbian specialities. The cheese plate is one of my favourites....sehr lecker...

My meal at this restaurant was excellent in every way. Menus in English or German. Helpful, attentive and friendly staff. Excellent food, superbly presented. I had the 65 Euro 3 course menu - worth every pfennig. The mens' washroom was clean as an operating room and featured cotton hand towels.

This was our second visit to Entenback and hopefully won't be our last. We were served, as before, by the owner/manager who's English is excellent and he even understands our sense of humour. I had a dish translated as three various steaks. They were beef, veal and lamb. All were perfectly cooked and amongst the most tender pieces of meat I have ever had. The local white wine he recommended was also excellent
