Schwabach (German pronunciation: [ˈʃvaːbax]) is a German town of about 40,000 inhabitants near Nuremberg in the centre of the region of Franconia in the North of Bavaria. The city is an autonomous administrative district (kreisfreie Stadt). Schwabach is also the name of a river, which runs through the city prior joining the Rednitz.

Schwabach is a good place to break your journey on the E50 across Germany. The Holiday Inn Express is a pleasant, well priced hotel, but its restaurant is limited. This doesn't matter, though, because this cafe is only a couple of doors away. The food is simple and hearty, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and efficient. They even found a waitress who spoke English, to save us struggling with German. There is a baker's shop in the same building, so if you don't fancy a cooked meal, you should be able to find something to eat. If we're in this location again, we'll certainly go back to this cafe.

Tipica gasthaus in periferia, frequentata unicamente da tedeschi e abitanti del luogo. La conduzione è famigliare e si mangia molto bene. Dalla cotoletta con patate saltate e confettura ai frutti di bosco, ai würstel della franconia. Ma in genere i piatti sono tutti gustosi come la birra ottima la loro weiÃber. D'estate c'è anche un giardinetto fuori. Il personale è cordiale e il conto non è mai salato.

This little bistro is the perfect place to find something for everyone. I find most German restaurants have fairly narrow menu choices but this place has plenty to choose from! From sandwiches and burgers to pasta and daily specials this place has never disappointed me. They also have a great breakfast and once a month a Sunday brunch I need to check out.

Relatives lured me to this location. Have been there twice in the past 3 months. In the summer, the beer garden is the place to be. The menu takes great detail in showing you where the products come from. Most everything is regional. Friendly service. My favorite: Leberkäse mit Spiegelei (Baloney loaf with sunny side egg on top). Comes with a very good potato salad. The prices are very reasonable. There is plenty of on-street parking.

We stopped in for coffee etc. after strolling the streets and park of Schwabach. The interior is light with large picture windows and spacious seating. Service was friendly and attentive. Their hot chocolate is amazing! This would be a good place to come again for drinks and/or a meal.

Stayed in the HiX next door which doesn't have a restaurant so ate here - the impression from outside is of a cafe but was really impressed by the quality and servings of evening fare, perfect if you don't want to head into the town.

We had dinner at Fabiano's during our visit to Interzoo 2018, just like we did 2 years ago.It was just warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Marktplatz and the Cathedral.Appetizer of Carpaccio was great and the steak was prepared perfectly. Service was friendly and efficient.The only complaint I have is that the advertised "Souffle" for dessert was nothing more than a lava cake. Not even close to a "Souffle"...This restaurant does take Credit Cards, something we surprisingly did not find very often on our trip to Germany this year.

The restaurant is really nice! The atmosphere was good, typical German restaurant. The meals(big portions) and the beers were wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpful! I highly recommend this restaurant.
