The menu is extensive and the food is pretty good. I had a senior plate that was more than enough for me, especially after ordering an appetizer for our group of six. You can get gyros, lamb, beef, fish, as well as vegetarian. You definitely won't go hungry here.

This typical German restaurant in a historic former bank building is popular with local residents. Friendly service, Alpirsbach Bier on tap. One of the specials the night we ate here was Wildschwein with Preiselbeeren and Spaetzle - delicious and reasonably priced. Around the corner from Johanniterbad Hotel. My friend who lives nearby told me it is a traditional Rottweil restaurant. Closed Monday

Zur Hochbrucke is a German-Italian restaurant. It was across the street from our hotel and just looks like an average restaurant. After we sat down it quickly filled up with locals. Our Italian waiter was very cheerful and friendly. Good Italian bread on the table, we had one of the specials, a type of stuffed pepper which was delicious. My husband had beer, but I asked for a glass of the house red and to my delight received a glass of a very good Bardolino. A lovely dinner and only 29 E with drinks for two.

I travelled from Canada with my grandparents to visit family in the area. On the last Sunday of our trip, we all gathered at the LindePost and had a fabulous meal that was truly a memorable experience for me. Everything from the food to the décor was perfect and would highly recommend this restaurant. For my Canadian standards, I would rank this as a fine dining restaurant over casual.

The couple managing this establishment were very hospitable! My wife and I speak very little German. They gave us an authentic meal and beer from the region. It was amazing! The service was great. It was our first time ever having maultasche. It was one of the best things either of us have ever tasted. We would highly recommend stopping here.

Very typical Schwarzwald / Baden eatery, tucked away and worth hunting out. Good food, inexpensive, and of course, beer.....!!!

A large roomy Gastwirtschaft on the outskirts of the town, extensive regional menu with all the typical dishes, and great local and other beers, wines and schnapps. There is an exquisitely painted function / wedding room and the "to be expected" Kachelofen wood stove for when it gets chilly.... Popular with families and businessmen alike, friendly and welcoming, professional and very very clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Weinstube Grimm. Not dealing German when the menu wasn't in English wasn't a problem as the waiter was very helpfulBoth our dishes were tasty and well presented. Veal and beef rouladen. Would recommend.
