Wer gute lokale (auch Bodensee-) Weine geniessen möchte, ist heir richtig aufgehoben. Ein Viertele oder Achtele sollte immer drin sein. Gute Auswahl, akzeptable Preise.

Great coffee, nice place on a corner, well prepared snacks, tapas, sandwiches, cakes and nice surrounding. Good to watch people passing by on Bahnhofstr. and Seestr.Family run bistro, excellent service, good price. Enjoy the food, I loved to sit and get a home made short cake with coffee.
Creative art and relaxing space whether you want to sit at the small bar for group conversation or take one of the many different sized tables (I was on solo business at a deuce). Most welcoming waitstaff, very nice dessert case, extensive after-dinner selections, in addition to beer and wine. Saw a large group having charcuterie lunch out front when passing by the previous day and all platters looked very appealing. Also a nice outdoor back veranda with tables overlooking the park. Good for a light relaxing dinner with ârealâ contemporary music (rare in these parts vs overproduced pop) at just the right volume for conversation. I need to come back many more times!

Some reviews seem to confuse Rubins restaurant at Bora Spa with the Biergarten. Both are excellent, but they are very different. Rubins is the hotel restaurant which offers fine dining. It is indoor, with a few outdoor tables weather permitting. The view of the lake from here is quite minimal. The food was innovative with creative use of edible flowers in some dishes. Everything was beautifully presented. I even found I could enjoy tripe! Service was friendly and helpful. The wonderful view of the lake is from the biergarten which shares a kitchen with the spa, and offers traditional fare â flammkuchen, schnitzel etc. â good stuff, but not fine dining. We ate here almost every day attracted by the view, friendly staff and atmosphere.

The "Kranz" in the small village of Liggeringen (belonging to Radolfzell) is an excellent place to taste "Dünnele". This is a regional speciality in the southwestern corner of germany and neighbouring areas. It's the alemannic answer to pizza and comes with all kinds of variations in the toppings. The "Kranz" offers some of the best ones. Ideally you order the combo of 7 different "Dünne" and enjoy them in a group. This takes it's time (3hrs recommended) but it's worth it. Also they have some other traditional dishes that you don't find at many places and - very personal opinion - they have the best apple juice around there. It is especially nice in summer when you can sit outside, but also the interior of the place is quite rustic and pleasant. By the way: the city bus from Radolfzell, line 6, starting at the railway station, brings you almost directly to the place. There is minimum an hourly connection during daytime and evening. The final destination (where it turns and runs back to Radolfzell) is 5 minutes from the "Kranz". It takes ca. 20 minutes to the railway station in Radolfzell.

We stayed in Konstance for a weekend and hotel receptionist recommended this place when asked for something local, not touristic. It was great in every aspect, we ate pork knuckle and spare ribs for dinner, came back next day for lunch ( kalbs Wienersnitzel and Kaesespetzle). Good local spetzburgunder red wine, not too big selection of beer, but sufficient. Very nice, helpful service. We will come back if ever travel to Konstance.

Hubby and I visited Liesele this week whilst holidaying in Radolfzell. We liked the thought of proper German food and it didnât disappoint. If you are a lover of pickled salad, the self service salad bar is for you! The Wienerschnitzel was tasty and enormous and the Käsespetzele were very tasty too. The decor is what I would call old school, with old kitchen implements adorning the walls, celing and every nook and cranny. Would revisit!
