In town for business. Had dinner with my husband one evening and took clients there the next day for lunch. It is very convenient to the highway. Food was good and fresh. It was reasonably priced. Server was very patient with us, as we do not speak German. I would return!

We waited 1 hour for 2 dishes. Other people who ordered after us got food. Maybe because we are British? But I speak German so maybe just incompetence. Left after one hour and grabbed a bratwurst in the square. Avoid!
Was will man (Frau) mehr, auÃer wiederkommen? Auf jeden Fall eine dicke Empfehlung wert. Ich komme wieder

A shopkeeper in central Osterode recommended this place for dinner and it certainly was worth the trip out into the country. The place was bustling when we arrived-- almost entirely with locals who were surprised to find Americans in their midst. The food was terrific from start to finish-- delicious soups and salads, pork and chicken entrees. The waitstaff was friendly and on the ball-- it was amazing to watch just two persons deftly and accurately serving a crowded dining room full of people. What a pleasure to be here!
We had wandered past Ratswaage earlier in the day. The building looks so interesting and inviting we decided to go for dinner. It was a good decision. Frisch Pfifferling were featured, so my decision was easily made. We were all pleased with our various selections - very good quality all around. Great service and very reasonable cost.

We have just returned from a holiday in the Harz area and stayed in Reifensbeek-Kamschlacken. Whilst there we visited Landhaus Meyer several times. The food is good, traditional German fare, with locally caught trout, wild boar and venison as well as traditional Schnitzel. The hotel / restaurant is a family run business and hospitality is excellent. Would highly recommend.
