Wir waren am Abend nach dem Essen nochmal bei Steini's um etwas zu trinken. So richtig wohlgefühlt habe ich mich aber nicht. Hinten geparkt (Ein Hoch auf vorhandene Parkplätze!) und hinten reingegangen. Leider fand ich dass es sehr seltsam im Eingangsbereich roch. Hat sich dann herausgestellt dass es wohl daran lag dass ein Hund mit anwesend war und es drauÃen regnete. Nun gut, kann eine Momentaufnahme sein. Im Gastraum dann roch es anders - aber wirklich nicht angenehm, kann nicht mal definieren nach was. Auf mich wirkte der Gesamte Gastraum um die Uhrzeit kalt und leer. Auch der Raum war glaube ich nicht geheizt, denn mir war dort echt kalt abends. Wohlfühlen konnte ich mich nicht wirklich, drauÃen im Sommer ist es sicher schöner hier. Die Bedienung hat uns dann auch erst einmal sehr lange ignoriert. Mehrmals die Karte durchgelesen, noch immer niemand da, haben wir uns dann aufgerafft und wollten bei ihr an der Theke bestellen. Nach einem "einen Moment noch bitte, gleich da" kam sie dann auch relativ schnell. Danach kam sie jedoch auch nicht wieder um zu fragen ob wir noch etwas möchten. Die Cocktails sind gut (Preis/Leistung passt), war ja schon einmal hier, aber ich habe jetzt nicht das Geühl unbedingt noch einmal hinzumüssen. Vielleicht gebe ich dem Ganzen im Sommer noch eine Chance.

Bei unserem Besuch in Ludwigslust sind wir hier eingekehrt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr gut. Wir brauchten nicht lange warten.

The Jagdschloss requires deliberate navigating, or then you just stumble upon it on your bike tour or wandering in the nature. The small hunting estate is beautiful and serves tasty, well-prepared and large dishes from the traditional German country cooking. Ingredients are fresh, the side potate sallad with apple and Gurken was especially fresh. Service is professional and friendly. Obviously a great venue for family events and occasions.

Lovely setting right next to the castle, delicious and beautifully presented dishes and very friendly and welcoming serving staff. We would highly recommend the salmon fillet and schnitzel and are already looking forward to our next meal at this great little restaurant.

Het restaurant ziet er niet echt uitnodigend uit, ondanks de reclameverlichting.Binnen ziet het er gezellig uit, maar wel leeg ( we kregen het gevoel, dat het Ruhetag was, maar op onze vraag of we konden eten, kregen we een duidelijk "ja".) Even later kwam er nog een gezelschap binnen, zodat we niet meer alleen zaten.Het restaurant bleek van het type Gasthof met feestzaal te zijn, echter de zeer uitgebreide menukaart gaf duidelijk aan, dat we hier met een vleesspecialiteiten retaurant te doen hadden. Een verder pluspunt: praktisch alle gerechten zijn ook in seniorenportie te bestellen en maar goed ook, bleek later, want de porties zijn behoorlijk royaal. Over de keuken niets dan lof; heerlijke combinaties, perfect bereid, mals en sappig vlees en een keur van bijgerechten. De bediening zou wat vriendelijker kunnen, maar met zo'n heerlijke maaltijd is daar makkelijk overheen te stappen

My wife and I were on weekend vacation and found this small restaurant. We made an reservation for the evening by their website and also asked if they used credit cards, we know the lack of this service is very common in Germany. But, nevertheless, they do:))We ordered the Rump Steak from Argentina. It was so good and the staff was very friendly and happy. We can only recommend this small restaurant in the middle of âno whereâ, but it is worth visiting!!Thanks and we will be back again:)

We tried this place instead of the usualy boring eating-places laying on the highway.That was a good idea. Its close to the highway (5 min), staff is nice and the food is very good. Proberbly the best lachs lasagne we ever had and the schnitzlel was also fine. Delicious salat also.Try it out.

Wallenstein is located in the 4 start castle hotel Schloss Hotel Neustadt-Glewe (Mercure), but the restaurant food was not at all able to live up to this level. The restaurant food was under average particularly the main course. Wine card was limited and mainly German wines. To live up the the hotel standard also other wines should be offered. We had a decent German read wine. We had breakfast the same place and this was good.

While staying overnight at the nearby Mercure Schloss Hotel (few hundred meters) we enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. While driving there we fancied having a large Schnitzel and som great German beer for dinner and this restaurant certainly delivered on that. Set in an old castle (Burg) it has a dining hall with a charming setting and extremely friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable and its a great place for families as well.
