On the way to a wedding I walked on the Stargarder StraÃe from the train station through the old city center of Neubrandenburg. Since it was lunch time I was looking for a decent restaurant that offered local food. I almost reached the other side of the old city center with the Stargarder Tor when I discovered the âFürstenkellerâ. Surprisingly, it was completely empty. I ordered âMatjesfilet Nordic Styleâ with pan-fried potatoes. While waiting the server offered me the local newspaper to read. The meal was pretty good. The pieces of Matjesfilet were quite large and tasty. The pan-fried potatoes were well seasoned. The accompanying salad was fresh. The price was a bit higher than the average. Nevertheless, it is not a mistake to eat there.

We were there as part of a trip visiting Neubrandenburg. The cafe is located on the 13th and 14th floor of a tower in the middle of the city. We ordered the lunch platter for two which was a basic selection of assorted cold cuts and cheeses and rye bread. EUR 15 for two persons so this was indeed an OK price.Their selection of cakes and tarts is really good.

Wir waren zu einem 5 Gang Menü im Wollenberg, einem sehr ansprechenden Restaurant am Tollensesee in Neubrandenburg. Mecklenburgische Gaumenfreunden nannte der Küchenchef seine kreative Menufolge. U.a. eine leckere Kürbissuppe, ein sehr geschmackvolles Filet vom Saibling mit karamelisiertem Fenchel-Möhrengemüse und als Hauptgericht geschmorte Ochsenbäckchen mit frischem Gemüse. Dazu sehr leckere Weine aus dem reichhaltigen Angebot. In jeder Hinsicht waren wir zufrieden und können das Wollenberg nur empfehlen. Das vor allem an eine Weinlounge erinnernde Interieur vermittelt eine angenehme Gemütlichkeit. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Insgesamt eine runde Sache! Sonntag ist Ruhetag.

The restaurant was suggested by business colleagues in the area. We ate outside and had plenty of space and privacy for a business discussion. The service was timely and the food was very good. Just don't expect lo-cal, lo-fat offerings. There was a great selection of beer. The desserts were excellent. It was all in all a nice evening. There were no English, speakers on the staff, but this is Germany after all. We did just fine.

This is a lovely place is in the centre of Neubrandenburg. Like its name shows, its main profile are dishes from pork. A dinner for 3 persons with beers and beverage was 65 â¬, what seems not many, becausethe meal was tasteful, the staf nice. The only problem was, that they don't accept bank card, only cash or a special - I think in Germany used mostly - card : "giro card". Anyway we were satisfied at all.

We visited during the afternoon for a drink and decided to return for dinner. Our table by the window had a perfect view over the lake. Portions were huge and freshly cooked with prices reasonable for the location. Staff helpful and friendly.

I had to dine on my own since I was on a business trip and stayed in the Hotel am Ring. I donât normally enjoy sitting by myself in a restaurant. This restaurant had a great atmosphere,though: Quiet, relaxed and very efficient service. I didnât feel strange at all. The waiters were very polite, professional and extremely well spoken. It was the right mixture of gentle conversation and leaving you to enjoy your meal. The menu lists accompaniments and meat separately, so I could create my own combination. I like that. Against all odds, I even stayed long enough for desert! The chocolate soufflé is divine! The waitress couldnât tell me why the place apparently had the wrong genderDas Krauthof! But I thoroughly recommend a visit!

An einem Feiertag sind wir ohne Reservierung ins Lokal und das Personal bat uns 15 min später zu kommen, dann wäre ein Tisch für uns frei. So war es .... und auch ein richtig schöner Tisch. Hier hat man einen freien Blick auf den See. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen sind bodenständig, groÃzügig und deutsch.

This is a habitué restaurant along the inner path of the city wall. There are a couple of well-appointed rooms inside and an outside patio. I had super fresh fried cod with vegetables and a portion of Swedish almond cake. Both were very good. Service and prices are OK.
