In a recent stay in Ehrwald we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. It was a fine evening so we were able to sit outside. The service was excellent as was the fare. In short a memorable experience and we can only but endorse the recommendation.
Weâve been coming to this wonderful region of Tyrol for over 20 years. We always walk the scenic route from Holzleiten to Obsteig and stop off at the Bergland for either food or drinks. This time we sat under a parasol on a hot sunny day and had some beers. We received friendly and attentive service. Weâve eaten in the cosy restaurant on previous occasions enjoying the good regional cuisine such as schnitzel, tafelspitz and spätzle. Weâll definitely be back again.

The menu was reduced early at 1 pm and the upper floor was closed because it was "already prepared for the dinner guests". But: the Cheeseburger with Bacon was one of the best ever! ...and so huge...much more than a snack!

Been there many many times, and this new TirolerHaus is awesome. Great place to chill, massive sundeck, 4 bars that cater for pretty much everyone. Really good for novice skiers and the 'off piste tricksters' too.Food is great in all the 'restaurants'(haven't eaten in the umbrella bar) and very good VFM and the staff are really nice too.

I had a room in the older part of the building, surprisingly a double bed though I was expecting to be put in the dorm. Dinner is a set menu, fortunately what they offered that night fit my dietary needs. It was tasty. The hut was completely full so the dining room was crowded and noisy, but service was fine.
My partner and I visited this restaurant/bar to eat without a reservation. The bar was charmingly rustic. The only problem to ourselves being that it was (on that particular evening) quite smokey as we have found in many bars and restaurants in Austria and Germany, smoking still being allowed in public places. The staff were friendly and very helpful though and found us a table in the no smoking area which is also the restaurant. The decor of which is lovely, airy and bright, with white table linen, though still intimate with private booths as well as central tables. We ordered the Pork Cordonbleu and a local dish of Three Cheese Noodles. Both were delicious. Generous portions of excellent quality food. We accompanied this with the red house wine which again was of a very high standard. A lovely evening in a great quality establishment. We would definitely recommend eating here.

We went there 3 days in a row and ate probably most of the menu. Food quality was incredible. All dishes made of local ingredients, and all Tyrolean specialties including their knodels, graukase and others (sorry forgot those names). Restaurand is placed in coutryside, but you have to got through the forest. It's location is idyllic. I will come back for sure. It has two serving rooms but they are not very large, i think it is about 12 tables all together.

Delicious and authentic austrian food. The owner is a charachter but funny. We had "Wiener Schnitzel" and Fish, for desert "Marillen Knödel". Everything was really tasty and fresh. The desert was the best. Great location.

Weâve been coming to this beautiful region of the Tyrol for over 20 years and this lovely traditional Austrian gasthof with its wonderful display of flowers is one of our favourite places to eat and drink. We always check into our hotel in Holzleiten and the first thing we do (ruhetag â rest day or day off permitting) is walk the lovely scenic and peaceful route to Auslandhof for late lunch. The ruhetag day(s) are always sign posted well advance so as to avoid disappointment. This time we sat outside in the lovely sunshine looking out at the amazing views. We had two Austrian beers and ordered bratwurst, sauerkraut, mustard, grated horseradish and bread. A perfect combination. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly and professional. We love this place and canât wait to come back here again. Highly recommend it.Dear Roy and Jeannette, thank you very much for your great review! We are happy the lamb Bratwurst from our own farm tasted well and you could enjoy the panoramic scenery from our terrace. It won't take long before the 'Lärchenbrennen' will begin and we can enjoy the golden colors of the trees! We are looking forward to seeing you again.Best regards from Aschlandhof
