This restaurant is part of the Haveltreff Hotel. It offers various options should you hesitate between diner by the fireplace and at the great terasse just couple of meters from the lake. Service stands in the upper quartile with an authentic style and a staff gently advising without being intrusive. They made no mistake and our meals always met or exceed expectations. It tasted awesome, fresh and tasty vegetables, succulent meat and (too) good deserts. At the end the Chef took time to visit our table to chat a minute or 2 that was very kind. Truly they care about quality and satisfaction. One hint: After the coffee, do not forget the home made 'schnapps'.We have had wonderful time there and warmly recommend this family owned establishment. They acquired the place just couple of months ago and work hard to upscale.I have read some negative comments on TA, surely related to old times as they do not reflect at all our experience at Chelinet.

The Kavalierhaus in Caputh was recommended by a friend and so I went there for a Sunday brunch with another friend. The hotel / restaurant is right next by the lake, adjoining the park and the castle. The brunch buffet was very creative and tasty. The food per person was 18 Euros, drinks were extra. The brunch buffet opens at 11 am and closes at 3 pm.All in all a very nice experience.

Dieses kleine und sehr familäre Restaurant liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Seddiner See entfernt und lohnt einen Ausflug. Das Essen ist sehr gut und frisch zubereitet, die Preise sind angemessen. Der Gastraum ist nicht groÃ, aber es gibt einen Saal, der oft auch für Veranstaltungen genutzt wird und sogar über eine kleine Bühne verfügt. Ganz zauberhaft. Der Biergarten ist auch nicht riesig, dafür aber schön unter Bäumen und schattig gelegen. Ein Tagesausflug lohnt sich allemal, hinfahren, spazierengehen und gut bürgerlich essen, was will man mehr?

Markisches Gildehaus is not only retaurant but also a small Hotel. The restaurant is ok but a bit limited for my taste. The hotel hovewer seems not to have changed for a bit too long. The rooms are extremely dated! The beds are tiny and the bathroom was not spotless. The reception staff is never there. Definite pro: direct lake access. Otherwise, I would not stay again.

Was taken here by some local friends. Clearly not on the regular tourist trail, but was quite impressive. I had the hock which was very good. It was a quick early dinner so I could get back to Berlin to catch my flight. Overall - for the short time I was there, I was quite impressed by the setting and the food.

Wir waren vor Kurzem zum zweiten Mal im Fliederhof und erneut begeistert. Das Essen ist hervorragend, der Service persönlich und schnell und es gibt für die Kleinen viele Ecken zum Spielen und Gucken, inkl. Trampolin, Buddelkasten, Kaninchen und Spielwiese. Der Avocado/Mangosalat ist eine Sensation - vielen, vielen Dank und wir werden sicher wieder vorbeischauen ;-)

Beim Betreten des Bahnhofsrestaurants fällt als erstes der Hinweis ins Auge, daà die Gerichte frisch zubereitet werden und somit mit Wartezeiten gerechnet werden muÃ. Dies ist eine angenehme Abwechslung zu der sonst ortsüblichen Schnell-Schnell-Küche.An einem Wochentag Montag abends auf dem Rückweg mit dem Fahrrad nach Berlin noch eine halbe Stunde vor Abfahrt des RE nach Wannsee Zeit gehabt und für eine Folienkartoffel und ein frisches Bier eingekehrt.Passt. Service sehr freundlich - man merkt des eigentümergeführte Engagement.

We were on our way to Potsdam when our GPS led us to the ferry crossing. Right there is the Faerhaus Caputh. We decided to stop for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Service was good, view to die for, english Menu, and very reasonable. Dinner for 2 about $65. We even came back 2 days later too. Dont' hesitate to go.

It was a lovely evening and we decided to eat outside at the La Palma restaurant. Although it was busy we were served quickly and the menu was a mixture of German/Italian with a selection of steaks. The food was very good and the wine was very reasonable. Service was first class. Would recommend.

We had a very nice German meal on the water. The atmosphere was excellent and the wait staff was very good as well as the food. Highly recommended right there on the water!
